Hello Everyone!
Today, I want to discuss about another emulator (Sort of). Yes, you read right, another emulator.
Before I begin, I want to ask a question. Have you ever wanted to play PUBG but you can't because your PC/Mobile phone dosen't meet the minimum requirements? If your answer is 'yes', then you're definitely reading the right post.
For several days, ever since the release of PUBG, I have been feeling kinda sad every time I watch a PUBG gameplay and I would think "That game looks so cool. I wish I could play that but I'm using a potato PC". Now let's travel back in time to when PUBG mobile was released. When I heard about this, I was excited until when I rushed to the Google Play Store only to see the message: "Your device doesn't meet the minimum requirements". I was quite upset but then I learned to live life like that. Now, back to 2020. A few days ago, while I was exploring the web (It's basically the only thing I do at this point), I was able to find out that it is possible to play PUBG mobile on your PC via an emulator because I live under a rock. But enough of my past experiences, let's go to the main reason you clicked on this post.
Links to download the emulator will be provided.
Playing PUBG Mobile on PC
The way that this is possible is by using Gameloop emulator.
GameLoop emulator (Formerly known as Tencent Gaming Buddy) is an android game emulator that was officially developed by Tencent Games themselves. This emulator is useful if your phone can't take the pressure of PUBG or if your phone screen is too small and your PC is more powerful than your phone. And the best part of this emulator is that it's not just PUBG mobile you can download on it, you can also download a ton of different games that are support the emulator such as Call of Duty mobile, Garena Free fire, Payback 2, Arena of Valor and many other games. So, if you were having trouble with storage on your phone, feel free to download as many games as you like with this emulator.
Yes, my Windows version isn't activated. Let's not talk about that...
You're probably thinking, "What if Tencent Games or other game companies decide to ban my account because I was using a pc emulator to play android games". Don't worry, the emulator is made by Tencent so you won't get banned from PUBG or the games that you downloaded.
Now let's begin...
First, you download the emulator from the site (Click here to download it) and install it. When you install it, you may see some updates and stuff downloading. Don't worry about that, it's getting some files and other things to set up the emulator since it's kinda like a virtual phone. After that, you then find the game you're looking for (PUBG Mobile in this case) and then you download it.
Once it's downloaded, you may want to adjust some settings on the game so you'll go to the settings by clicking on the three horizontal bars next to the close app button. Once you go to the settings, you can adjust some things like the resolution of the game you're playing and the amount of RAM and processor cores to be used.
Ok, so now you're done with the settings, the next thing to do is configuring the keys that you'll be using to play the game. You know all the virtual buttons and analogs that are on the screen when you're playing a game? You can configure all those on-screen buttons to your keyboard and you will even see the button prompts placed ontop of the game's usual UI. You can also use this as a reminder for your keyboard layout.
You can set it that WSAD are to move, the mouse is for the camera, E is to interact and et cetera. In case you are not really fond of using a keyboard to play, it also has a support for controllers too.
I was trying to make this post as brief as possible (Because I suck at writing) so if there is anything you don't understand or some information you need, click here for more information from FanByte.
This was very helpful for me so I decided to share it since I was unable to download the PC version on my PC or the mobile version on my phone. I am now able to play PUBG and join the battle against 99 other people (and fail horribly...).
That summarizes this post, thanks for reading. If there's any opinion/experience you also want to share or you want me to talk about anything, as usual, let me know in the comments section.
