Playing this came up unexpectedly. My Hero Ones Justice 2 is a fighting game based on the Anime/Manga of Boku No Hero, it's not a game that has been on my list or that I was particularly attracted to, but I've been wanting to play some fighting title for days and when I started researching, this one popped up as recommended, so, considering I've watched all the seasons of the anime, I decided to give it a try.
The battles will take place in different scenarios that, although they are not gigantic, will have a moderate size through which we will be able to move. We will have a modest amount of combos to perform and a series of special skills, which by the way do not consume any energy, so we can spam them if we want. We will have two support companions that we can call to give us a hand with a special attack.
We will also have three types of ultimate attack. To begin with, we will have the plus ultra, which will cause a moderate amount of damage but it will not be a big deal, to be able to execute it we will have to have a charge in the energy bar.
Then, there will be the plus ultra 2, which we could consider it as the 'true' ultimate attack, it will consume two energy bars and, if we manage to hook the enemy with it, it will start a cinematic where we will perform a devastating attack that will cause a lot of damage.
Finally there will be the plus ultra 3 (they were not very original with the names), this attack will be joint with our support partners. Here there is some complexity since, if we execute this attack with random companions, we will simply attack all three at the same time causing a lot of damage. However, if we do it with a specific group, it will start a unique and spectacular special attack. Regardless of how we do it, this attack will always consume three charges of energy.
The game has three important game modes. First of all, we will have the story mode, where we will be able to relive the events that happened in the saga. The way in which the story is told will be through dialogue scenes with combats in between, typical in these games, although here it feels a bit simpler and boring, since there will only be static dialogue scenes and some vignettes.
Then there is the mission mode, the best in my opinion. Here we will have our own hero agency and we will have to complete different missions (all combat missions), each mission will give us an amount of money that will allow us to hire new heroes for our agency, which means that the range of playable characters when doing the missions will be extended. Normally in these missions we will have to fight between 3 and 7 times to complete it successfully and, in case of being defeated at least once, we will lose the mission and we will have to start again. This mode is hard, the enemies have a high level and life is not regenerated between fights, so some missions can be a challenge.
In this mode we will also have a personal progress of each character, as we complete missions we will gain experience that we can use to strengthen us in three statistics; Life, defense and attack. In addition, there will be a mechanic of stickers that we can equip to obtain passive advantages such as doing more damage with basic attacks, increase our defense and many other things. These cards will be obtained from time to time by completing a mission.
Finally there will be the free combat mode, which as you can imagine will be for us to fight at will against the A.I. or a friend. In this mode we will be able to customize the rules of combat, the number of rounds, the difficulty of the AI and all that. In total we will have 49 characters to use.
Like most Anime/Mangas based games, My Hero Ones Justice 2 is pretty generic, but that doesn't mean it's not fun. It's a title that, if you're a fan of anime or manga, you'll probably enjoy, but it won't bring you much more than a few evenings of fighting with your favorite characters, because unlike other fighting games where you need some skill to fight, here the fights are very undemanding on a technical level, the combos are mostly pressing the same button with the occasional small exception, so it can be easy to get bored. I would describe it as the typical game to play when friends come over..

My Hero Ones Justice 2 es un juego de lucha basado en el Anime/Manga de Boku No Hero, no es un juego que haya estado en mi lista ni que me atrajera especialmente, pero llevo días queriendo jugar algún título de lucha y cuando me puse a investigar, este apareció como recomendado, por lo que, teniendo en cuenta que me he visto todas las temporadas del anime, decidí darle una oportunidad.
Los combates se llevarán a cabo en distintos escenarios que, si bien no llegan a ser gigantes, tendrán un tamaño moderado por el que nos podremos mover. Contaremos con una modesta cantidad de combos para realizar y una serie de habilidades especiales, las cuales por cierto no consumen ningún tipo de energía, por lo que podremos spamearlas si lo deseamos. Tendremos dos compañeros de apoyo que podremos llamar para que nos echen una mano con algún ataque especial.
También contaremos con tres tipos de ataque definitivo. Para empezar, tendremos el plus ultra, que causará una cantidad de daño moderada pero no será nada del otro mundo, para poder ejecutarlo deberemos tener una carga en la barra de energía.
Luego, estará el plus ultra 2, que podríamos considerarlo como el ‘verdadero’ ataque definitivo, consumirá dos barras de energía y, si logramos enganchar al enemigo con él, comenzará una cinemática donde realizaremos un ataque devastador que causará mucho daño.
Finalmente estará el plus ultra 3 (no fueron muy originales con los nombres), este ataque será conjunto con nuestros compañeros de apoyo. Aquí hay cierta complejidad ya que, si ejecutamos este ataque con compañeros al azar, simplemente atacaremos los tres al mismo tiempo causando mucho daño. Sin embargo, si lo hacemos con un grupo especifico, comenzará un ataque especial único y espectacular. Independientemente de cómo lo hagamos, este ataque siempre consumirá tres cargas de energía.
El juego cuenta con tres modos de juego importantes. En primer lugar, tendremos el modo historia, donde podremos revivir los acontecimientos ocurridos en la saga. La forma en la que se narra la historia será por medio de escenas de diálogo con combates entre media, lo típico en estos juegos, aunque acá se siente un poco más simple y aburrido, ya que solo serán escenas de diálogo estáticas y alguna que otra viñeta.
Luego estará el modo misión, el mejor en mi opinión. Acá tendremos nuestra propia agencia de héroes y deberemos ir completando distintas misiones (todas de combate), cada misión nos dará una cantidad de dinero que nos permitirá contratar a nuevos héroes para nuestra agencia, lo que significa que el abanico de personajes jugables a la hora de hacer las misiones se extenderá. Normalmente en estas misiones habrá que combatir entre 3 y 7 veces para completarla de forma exitosa y, en caso de ser derrotados al menos una vez, perderemos la misión y habrá que comenzar de nuevo. Este modo es duro, los enemigos tienen un alto nivel y la vida no se nos regenera entre combates, por lo que algunas misiones pueden ser un reto.
En este modo también tendremos un progreso personal de cada personaje, conforme completemos misiones ganaremos experiencia que podremos usar para fortalecernos en tres estadísticas; Vida, defensa y ataque. Además, habrá una mecánica de cromos que podremos equiparnos para obtener ventajas pasivas como hacer más daño con ataques básicos, aumentar nuestra defensa y muchas cosas más. Estos cromos los obtendremos de vez en cuando al completar una misión.
Finalmente estará el modo combate libre, el cual como pueden imaginar será para que luchemos a gusto contra la I.A o algún amigo. En este modo podremos personalizar las reglas de combate, el número de rounds, la dificultad de la I.A y todo eso. En total tendremos 49 personajes para usar.
Como la mayoría de juegos basados en Animes/Mangas, My Hero Ones Justice 2 es bastante genérico, aunque no por eso deja de ser divertido. Es un título que, si eres fanático de la obra en cuestión, seguro disfrutaras, pero que no te aportará mucho más que unas tardes de lucha con tus personajes favoritos, ya que a diferencia de otros juegos de lucha donde requieres de cierta habilidad para combatir, acá los combates son muy poco exigentes a nivel técnico, los combos son en su mayoría apretar el mismo botón con alguna que otra excepción mínima, por lo que puede ser fácil aburrirse. Lo describiría como el típico juego para jugar cuando vienen amigos a casa.
Lately I'm giving me to play games like this, so I'll have to try the first one on my list of Dragon Ball, it's strange but it's a thirst for fighting I have that I can't stand the desire, this looks great, reminds me of one that I got to play on the PS 2
Dragon Ball Fighter Z is great, it is very focused on combat, mechanically it is a delight if you master it and the online fights against other players are great and challenging. The only bad thing I could say is that there are too many characters as DLC 😞.

Con este juego me ocurre lo mismo que con el 95% de los animejuegos, me gritaba [genérico] desde kilómetros, pero como dices, se ve jugable al menos, algo que podrías disfrutar por un rato, preferiblemente con amigos.
De haber sabido que estabas buscando un juego de peleas te habría recomendado el Guilty Gear Strive, estuvo en prueba gratuita hasta ayer y podías usar a todos los personajes en combates online sin ningún problema, el rollback es una bendición que no nos merecemos.
Creo que el punto fuerte de estos juegos siempre será el ver a esos personajes que te gustan haciendo movimientos espectaculares, admito que aunque no sea nada del otro mundo, disfrutaba los primeros combates donde descubría los nuevos movimientos, pero luego de una o dos tardes se acaba el interés y posiblemente no lo toque mas nunca.
Hubiera estado interesante probarlo, sobre todo por el Online que si vale la pena en juegos como ese. En su día me envicie al online de Fighter Z y son muy disfrutables los combates.
Por ejemplo, el juego de SNK también fue bastante genérico en varios aspectos, pero así como tú lo mencionas, no deja de ser divertido. Yo personalmente no disfruté los primeros capítulos del Anime, pero el juego no se ve nada mal y los personajes tienen bastante estilo. Tal vez en algún momento lo pruebe, estos juegos pueden sorprendernos.
For example, the SNK game was also pretty generic in many ways, but as you mention, it's still fun. I personally didn't enjoy the first few chapters of the Anime, but the game doesn't look bad at all and the characters are quite stylish. Maybe at some point I'll give it a try, these games can surprise us.
Si tiene un inicio lento, pero cada temporada se va poniendo mucho mejor.
El juego de SNK nunca he sabido muy bien que es xd, pensaba que era un juego hecho por fanáticos, pero hace poco me enteré que es oficial y que hasta una secuela sacaron, quiero probarlo en algún momento, he visto imágenes muy buenas.
Yo creí que era hecho por fans, pero luego me di cuenta que era bastante oficial. Créeme que el juego parece super genérico y tiene muchas fallas, pero te engancha demasiado y es bastante emocionante y divertido.
I thought it was fan made, but then I realized it was pretty official. Believe me the game looks super generic and has a lot of flaws, but it hooks you too much and is quite exciting and fun.
Es que muchas veces lo genérico es lo que funciona, aunque no lo parezca el juego es muy dinámico, solo que bueno hace falta mas publidiad para que este tipo de titulos llegue a ser algo. Igualmente eso no le quita lo divertido.
Sin duda es muy disfrutable, pero creo que la mayoría de los que jugamos a esto no es tanto por ser un buen juego de lucha, si no mas porque conocemos y nos gustó el anime o manga.
Se ve cool, ni idea de si es genérico, rara vez los juegos de anime de pelea son malos, todavía no recuerdo uno malo nisiquiera de la PS2 jaja, supongo que tarde o temprano sacarán un MHOJ3 puesto que lo más probable es que no se adelanten al anime y el manga ni ha terminado, así que esperaré a que salga ese jaja, saludos.
