In the previous chapter I reached the final area of the game. I explored the surroundings a bit, got some useful items and defeated a few enemies. I finished the adventure after arriving to a room with a grace. It turns out that, as soon as we leave this room we will reach a very wide area full of sand. Leda will be in the center of this area, waiting for us.
To recap a bit, Leda is one of the first NPC's we meet when we enter the DLC. When we talk to her she will tell us that she regrets having treated us as equals and will let us know that we won't be able to continue advancing until we defeat her. Well, unlike us, she is a loyal follower of Miquella, so she can't let us ruin her plans. At the end of the conversation, a red mark will appear for us to invade her.
This combat is quite complicated, not so much because of the difficulty, but because it will not be against her alone. As we lower Leda's life, the other followers of Miquella will appear, which are the different NPC's that we have encountered throughout the adventure. We will have to defeat them all.
I died many times, to the point that it started to get frustrating because of how annoying it was to have to face several enemies at the same time. So I decided to take another approach and switch to a heavier weapon, with the intention of stunning the enemies and trying to clear them quickly to concentrate on the next one.
After several trys I was finally able to defeat them all. When we do this we will see how all the defeated followers appear and scattered on the floor of the room. Each follower will have a reward for us that we will have to collect from his body. Swords, shields, armor, and a couple of other things.
With Miquella's followers defeated, I could move on. I came to some long stairs with a grace just before what is clearly the final boss door. I decided to return to my old weapon before entering.
Upon entering the room a cinematic will start. We will hear Miquella talking in the background while we see a figure standing in the distance of the room. When the camera zooms in, we will realize that said figure is General Radahn, yes, the one we defeated in the base game, but this time without any curse on his body and with all his strength. Here begins the final battle.
I don't know how to express what this boss has made me feel. It's been a long time since I've been really frustrated with an enemy, but let's take it in parts; At the beginning of the fight, we'll see that it has pretty fast attacks and some area attacks that can complicate things. The first phase is to learn his attack pattern and know when and how to dodge. It seems obvious, but mastering it can be difficult.
The real problem is in the second phase, which will be activated when we reduce half of his life. Here we will see how Miquella appears and embraces Radahn, placing herself on his back and giving him much more power. In this second phase Radahn will increase his speed a lot, to the point that many of his attacks will seem impossible to dodge.
The second phase was the one that caused real frustration for me. The first day I was around 2 hours and I just couldn't beat him. The next day I died many more times, then I started trying different things, like changing armor, using a shield in the second phase to try to block, among other things.
So, after trying many things and seeing that nothing worked, I decided to play as normal, but with a slight change; I went back to equip the big mallet I used in the fight against Miquella's followers. Being a very heavy weapon, I had to sacrifice some pieces of my armor, so as not to be so heavy and to be able to roll well.
I died many more times, but I realized that using this weapon I was getting further and further in the second phase, so I kept trying until I finally defeated him. My strategy was to go aggressive, trying to do as much damage as possible to break his stance and somehow prevent him from doing many attacks on me in the second phase.
Upon defeating Radahn, a memory will appear on the battlefield that we can interact with. Upon doing so, we will see Miquella kneeling and praying, saying that he will become a God and make the world a better place. This is how this DLC ends.
I'll be completely honest: I didn't understand the final cinematic. But well, that aside, it's been an incredible adventure. Few games have made me feel so much excitement, frustration and satisfaction at the same time. Undoubtedly a marvel of DLC, I would dare to say that it surpasses the base game in everything.

This new weapon you have looks very good, I did not know that the movements of the enemy bosses were so dangerous, the movements are impossible to dodge.
My friend beat the General yesterday and boy was it the greatest battle in the history of gladiators. Also, my friend beat him with a leg piece XD.
The combat is incredible. Leaving aside the frustration it can cause if you get stuck for several hours haha, it's one of the best battles, especially the first phase, where it feels more like a duel. The second one is sickening because of how crazy Radahn gets haha.
Is that the radhan doing back to back attacks? That looks so insane bro, wonderful gameplay.
Yes, his second phase is sickly. I almost always took a hit in that fast sequence and when I dodged it, I didn't even know how I did it haha.
