CAPTAIN'S GHOST is a 7-mana rare reward card of the water splinter. In level 1, it has a 1-speed, 2-magic and 7-health with affliction ability. In max level, it has 2-speed, 4-magic and 8-health with affliction and oppress abilities.
Considering its low speed, even in max level, Captain’s Ghost is great at reverse speed ruleset. He will surely evade lots of attacks. Not only that, but it also has a high health body which is great for tanking. Its magic attack is high specifically when in its max level. The affliction ability is great for tanks that heal and its oppress ability is useful to those cards that do not have an attack.
My team
Summoner:
I went for Delwyn Dragonscale because of the high mana rule. I’m planning for a full magic team to surprise the enemy. The earth splinter type is also out of the chooses so I don’t have to deal with a mushroom seer that lowers the magic attacks of my monsters. This only leaves for Bortus as a threat to Delwyn Dragonscale.
Tank:
I choose serpent of eld because it is 7 mana. I’m planning to pick torhilo the frozen in case my opponent also create a magic team, but its 9 mana body goes beyond the 38 mana ruleset when I added it to the team. Sepent of eld is still great in invading attacks.
Since I didn’t pick torhilo the frozen, I added prismatic energy as a substitute against magic enemies. It also works great for Delwyn Dragonscale because it is a magic type monster.
My mana is getting full at this point, so I added ice pixie because it is only 2 mana cost. It also has a flight ability and it attacks with magic.
I added him because of its 3 mana body. Its magic attacks will also be increased by Delwyn Dragonscale.
I’m planning to use spirit miner but the no legendary ruleset prevented me. So in alternative, I picked sea genie. I put it in the back row because it have a low health body. The fly ability will also help against sneak attacks.
I put the main star of this battle at the last row because of its high health. This will protect sea genie against sneak monsters. It also has a high magic attack which is great since it will have more opportunity to attack in the back row.

Turn 1
My speed was greatly lowered by boogeyman and creeping ooze. With this setup, it plans for me to always miss since its monsters like phantom soldier and octopider have high speed. The good thing is that I used a magic team, thus my attack will always hit its target.
The undead raptor miss its attack against serpent of eld, allowing it to tank more damage. Because of my high magic damage, Undead Raptor easily went down.
Turn 2
On Turn 2, my Serpent of Elds dies. His phantom soldier also easily went down because of my serpentine mystic. With his octopider at the front row, its three attack damage became useless. Before the end of turn 2, Octopider dies because of my sea genie 3 magic attack.
Turn 3
By turn 3, My win is within grasp. His boogeyman is not much of a concern because it has low health. My prismatic energy also has a reflect ability so its attack will only be reflected back. After the boogeyman dies, only his 1 health monster remains. My monster finished them easily.
Conclusion
It was an easy battle for me. I think the enemy made the wrong move in putting octopider at the middle. His plan for my attack to always miss did’nt work because I use a magic team. I also did efficiently use my 38 mana well (5+7+8+2+3+6+7=38). Since I used an almost all magic attack, position did’nt matter much. Using an all magic monsters team is a great strategy to caught off the guard of your opponents from time to time.
