Spiritfarer || Recruiting New Crewmates : The Journey Continues

Hello everyone,

We need to find new crewmates to recruit to upgrade to double jump and check with the strangers on hummingberg island. all To recap the last post we went to hummingberg island to buy some seeds from Theodore, but while meeting him, we also found a shrine where we can upgrade Stella, for the time being, I can only upgrade the double jump, but I need two obols, obols can be acquired by recruiting the lost souls, I already have one since I recruited Gwen on the starting of the game, now I need to find another one, and also there's this stranger soul I met on the humming berg, where he invited Stella and Gwen to join them but the ladder was broken, there is another way to reach upstairs by using stairs inside the building, but the key to the building been lost by someone, Theodore found or stolen the key and he charges a crazy amount for the key. so we can upgrade the jump and see what's up upstairs.

As soon as I got back on the ship, Gwen started to talk about how fulfilling the wishes of the souls is important, and she told me to set sail to an island where we can find someone we can recruit, so I went to the map board, the island was across thunderstorms, so I thought I should collect the crates first and then check the island. so I went to the two crates' site and collected them. I checked the coffee plant and linen plant I planted earlier and it started to grow, after watering them, I then checked the kitchen, and the poached fruit was done, I then placed some oysters I had to cook. By the time I cleared the two crates' site, it was already evening.

I then cleared the nearby bright jelly site before I move on to the other side of the thunderstorm, this time, the jellies were hard to catch and lots of them were beyond my reach, if I just came to this site after upgrading to double jump, I might've had the chance, so I need to find a new member soon. but I caught enough of them for now.

By the time I finished up with the jellies, it is already night, and the ship won't moves at night, we can go ahead to bed and set sail on the morning to the next island.

First thing in the morning, I set sail to Barkensheim Island. and the ship started to move, then I watered the plants and started to fish. then the ship entered into the patch of a thunderstorm we saw on the map. I thought Thunder would damage the ship and hurt Stella. but that is not the case. as we can pass through a thunderstorm any time it seems. the plants were also ready to harvest by the time we reached the island, the linen still had time until we can harvest them. then we finally got to Barkensheim island after crossing the thunderstorms.

the Island was not that fancy. this island made me remember the first island we ever landed on to get some logs and berries to build a kitchen on the ship. this island also had some logs, then I found a lost soul there just standing near a pond. I interacted with him, and he said that he slipped a lemon into the pond and he needed us to get it for him, it seems he was bored of regular berries and he wanted to experiment by squeezing the citrus into the berries to see how it changes the taste of berries. but since he's been eating berries all day, his hand became sticky and the lemon slipped into the pond. I helped him to get his lemon, then he asked if I could get him aboard our ship and hell be useful for us on the ship such as fishing, cooking, and cleaning. That's why we sailed out here, to recruit him so I said yes.

He took his real form, a frog. It seems he is no stranger to Stella, he is her uncle on earth. his name is Atul. he was really happy to have met Stella in this realm and he got really surprised with the fishing setup on the ship.

he checked it and said it missed a few bolts, so this pole was not at its full potential, he then fixed the pole and let me give it a spin, I got a squid right after he fixed the pole, I don't know what other tricks he has up his sleeve, he is a really handy person, can't wait to explore his story and see what he's gonna do to help us upgrade the ship, I even got the obol we've been searching for, now we can go to the hummingbird Isalnd and upgrade Stella to do a double jump.
