Whenever i see a dog in games, the first thing i want to do is petting the dog. But sometimes that won't work well, like in god of war games. But I really love when the devs make an option to pet a dog, In red dead redemption 2, you can pet a dog in small towns and it will recognise you when you visit the same town later on.
