More like favourite colour is red and she took the fire starter in the original Pokemon so it might have become a trend XD I usually picked the grass or water starters after Pokemon Yellow (which was the first one I played which is the only one where you start with an electric starter and I was kind of mad as I wanted the rival's starter which is my favourite XD
