After several weeks of opening booster packs I finally managed to complete the Mythical Island collection, or at least the standard cards for it. Good timing considering that the next set of Pokémon TCG Pocket cards has finally been announced, which by the way will be inspired by the Sinnoh region and will be called “Space-Time Smackdown”, and, aside from this, trading cards will finally be included in the game, although the specific details of how it will work are still not entirely clear.
Personally I really enjoyed the way Mythical Island works, which, while it is nothing more than a booster pack with a smaller number of cards (68), I did feel that it gave me enough time to complete it calmly, something I definitely did not feel with Genecit Apex.
My last card was Aerodactyl GX, which is quite ironic considering that I have mentioned it on several occasions as my favorite Pokémon from the Kanto region. And, while I've been a bit away from battle mode (I admit that I'm not really into it) I feel like it's the perfect opportunity to get back into it and accumulate several watches for this new season that will premiere on January 30th.
I'm feeling pretty excited about Space-Time Smackdown and I feel like it's a new era of Pokémon TCGP that has a lot of potential, especially if the trades are implemented well and the balance is found between letting us trade freely but not being able to abuse the system.
Dialga and Pialka are two of my favorite legendary Pokémon, and the Sinnoh region has many fantastic generations, let's hope they finally manage to meet our expectations.

On the other hand, I feel very satisfied with my complete collection of Mythical Island, and although the rewards were quite simple (A new Mew avatar), I really enjoyed the process.
