To the Death.

Brainwashed by Vitalis and accompanied by Nicholas, Hugo unleashed his rats on Chateau d'Ombrage. Nicholas kills Arthur but Amicia and Hugo, reunited once more, manage to kill Vitalis's henchman. The group leaves for the town in order to put an end to the Grand Inquisitor's madness.

Hugo got confused seeing the huge castle thinking how they'd get their mom out of this place and Amicia motivated him that they'll get her out of there. Melie looked to excited so she ran towards the castle alone saying that's enough hanging around.

The rats blocked the safest entrance that I used to get to the university before so now we didn't have any choice but trying the Great Door which was guarded by some Inquisitor's guard. Btw, Hugo did sound like he controlled the rats to block the door.

There were three guards on the gate and they were talking about something already getting started. Melie suggested they're better off with the back door so she moved taking Lucas along and started unlocking the door.

A heavy guard suddenly walked back and noticed them opening the back door. Melie and Lucas ran inside and two heavy guards started chasing them leaving one normal guard behind.

Now that the heavy guards left the gate with one guard for us, we tried to take advantage and I asked Rodric to take care of the remaining guard that he did with pleasure.

I started moving forward taking Hugo when Rodric was following us and we noticed the cathedral where Vitalis should've been and also the mother. There were guards around and Hugo said he was sensing rats beneath them and I had to put out the source of light to let them out and use them against the guards.

At a certain point, the rats were not answering to Hugo so first I tried to put out all the lights around and then I tried an odoris to move them away but that didn't help as well.

Then I used a Luminosa and burned all those rats to clear our way and then I noticed there were couple bodies in there and probably that's why the rats were not moving as they got food there or maybe there was another reason that I didn't understand.

Now we got more guards around and we started taking them down one by one mostly controlling the rats but suddenly I heard someone saying he finally found me and before I found where he was, Amicia got shot by an arrow.

I noticed it was a bowman who shot me from a high place the other time so I took care of him this time before he could shoot me again and then Rodric pulled up a heavy gate for us alone.

We noticed a lot of guards in the other side who were talking about some weird fog appearing and feeling less cold with the snow melting. The others were mentioning its not a fog, its something came straight from the hell.

When the guards were still believing that the grand inquisitor will save them, I took them down using the rats and then we found Melie and Lucas but on the other side of a big hole that was filled with rats.

Melie said a whole battalion is coming our way and suggested us to get out of there and then Lucas suggested us to take the stairs from a house that has an exit on the other side.
