I Finished NG+ In Lords of the Fallen

My NG+ run of Lords of the Fallen has come to an end. This was an incredibly fun run thanks to the build I was running. I was running an inferno build which basically means lots of fire, both from my weapons and from the spells I'm using. The run was shorter than my first playthrough but in general felt so much better.

The build

The build I used in this run used very simple principles. Equip everything that scales well with inferno then specialize heavily into the inferno stat. I started the run with roughly 60 inferno and thanks to having a weapon with S-tier scaling in inferno I basically one shot every enemy in the early game. I also didn't die a single time to a boss until i was super late in the game.

I was running with the Grinning Axe and the Bloodlust sword both upgraded to +10. This gave me a lot of fire damage as well as a sliver of healing every time I killed an enemy. It was just fantastic. I looked up some build guides later on and apparently these two weapons are often used in inferno builds. I guess I hit the jackpot when going for these two.

Outside of this I equipped any rings that would mention fire damage, as well as a necklace that increased my damage based on the amounts of status effects applied to an enemy. It absolutely rocked.

Quests completed

I also focused on completing a few quests during this run. My main focus was on the Damarose quest and the Tortured Prisoner quest that both neatly tie into the inferno ending of the game. I had to follow a guide for this as the quests in this game are even more obscure than they are in Elden Ring and Dark Souls. You have to give NPCs random quest items that you find throughout the game. Not a problem, only you have to guess which one goes to who. You can also lock yourself out of a lot of quests if you progress to far which can be a pain in the ass.

The inferno ending was also much more satisfactory than the radiance ending I got on my first run. This ending had me fight an actual boss to end off the game. It felt much more like a real and proper ending than what the first one did. I also read that it's speculated that this is the canon ending that will be kept for the second game when that releases sometime in the future. I'm very excited for that.

I streamed the entirety of this run and you can see the last part of that here:

I also don't think this will be my last run of the game. I'm probably going to play something else for a little while to get a change of pace but I want to do at least one more run to get the last ending I'm missing. We'll see when that happens.

A 1 hour 47 minutes gameplay of action. That's a lot man.
Normally I get tired or headaches when I play intense missions for too long. I did not watch the full video but just 2 fights. One with The Sundered Monarch and another one with Judge Cleric.

And I have to admit both of these were more intense than the tough battles I face in the games I play. And the fire effect on the weapons made the actions look more amazing.

Thank you for taking the time to watch parts of the video.

I really enjoyed this game.

It's a good one. Took me by surprise for sure.

It was pretty tough at first. Took some getting used to before I really started to enjoy it. Those tight caves suck. I bang my sword into the walls too much.

Did you download the demo for The First Berzerker Kazahn? It is pretty cool so far.
