Episode #6 - A place to call home

Hello guys, welcome to episode #6 of our SevTech adventures.

This time we finally got to making some storage improvements with the wood we got from our travel to the other islands in the previous episode.

It's a lot better to have this type of chest with the default Minecraft interface, because the ones we got in the beginning are just really hard to manage.(although they look cool...)

I gotta say I love the blue color.

And here is how it looks from the inside. I know it's pretty small, but atleast we got something that I'm more familiar with 😉.

Here I made the Work blade which is a tool that I've been neglecting for some time, but it's really necessary if we want to progress further into the modpack.

Mainly I need it to collect the bark from wooden logs, which is used to upgrade our Primal chests into bigger ones later on.

And here I upgrade to the bigger version of the chests. A few extra slots are always welcome.

After getting those storage upgrades done, I wanted to finally focus on the building of the base and get things finished. A creeper was guarding the future base, how sweet 😂😂

I just got down to business and played for like an hour straight, collecting materials thinking of ways to make the base look cool. I didn't take screenshots of the bulding process, because I wanted to just get it over with ASAP.

And voila, here we have it. The Base 😍

I used some cobble with sandstone to spice it up a bit, as well as adding the trees on the top layer of the beams which creates like a roof-wall that will stop mobs from coming in (and looks cool as well). 😎

I know these episodes are a bit short, but I got a few more to roll out and after that I will focus on making them longer for you to enjoy.

I wonder if I should post less frequently, but make them extra long? Let me know down in the comments.
