I love to see more fans involved in recreating their favorite games or extending the series on their own. I am not a huge fan of these graphics too but I can overlook if the gameplay is fun and engaging.

It is interesting to see how games created by fans sometimes tend to give another twist to the stories of this type of games, although like you I usually play more video games with realistic graphics, but this time I decided to play something different and I was not disappointed with the experience certainly highly recommended this game especially for the story and gameplay.
