The game is about SpongeBob and Patrick who bought mermaid tears, which grant secret wishes, at the carnival. Unfortunately, the wishful thinking has catastrophic consequences and banished all residents of Bikini Bottom to wishful worlds. The two friends dive into seven portals to save their friends.

Yes, it is a child friendly game. I had a lot of fun with this game and would recommend it, especially to younger fans.
