It's amazing, but at the same time not so much

"Positive" points

Minecraft is one of the most popular games in history, with more than 200 million copies sold worldwide, it's crazy, isn't it? Created by Mojang in 2009, the game has been a success due to its originality and the creative freedom it offers players. But what makes Minecraft such a special game? In this review, we will analyze the positive and negative aspects of Minecraft and evaluate its quality as a game.

(I write the post a bit in an easy to read form for non-active Minecraft players).

The first thing that jumps out at you in Minecraft is its visual aspect, which may seem simple and unappealing at first glance. However, this simplicity is part of what makes the game so unique. Minecraft does not have realistic graphics but instead offers a world full of blocks that players can manipulate and build as they, please. The ability for players to create anything they can imagine, from entire castles and cities to recreations of historical monuments, is one of Minecraft's main draws.

The world of Minecraft is infinite, which means players never run out of things to explore. In addition, each generated world is different, which makes the game experience unique for each player. The randomness of the world also means that players must be prepared to face all kinds of dangers, such as monsters, drops, and environmental obstacles. Also with the latest version 1.19, we can find too many cool new features, however, I don't know if it's quite enough.

The gameplay of Minecraft is simple and easy to understand, which means that players of all ages can enjoy it. The game has a crafting system that allows players to create items from the resources they collect in the world. This crafting system is very deep and offers many possibilities for creating unique items.

Minecraft also features a multiplayer mode that allows players to interact with each other in the same world. The multiplayer mode is very popular and is one of the main attractions of the game. Players can join public servers or create their own private servers to play with friends.

"Negative points"

However, while Minecraft has many positive aspects, it also has some weaknesses. One of the biggest problems with the game is the lack of a proper tutorial. While the gameplay is easy to understand, new players may have difficulty understanding how to build objects or how to defend against monsters. This can be frustrating for new players and may deter them from continuing to play.

Another problem is the lack of variety in the world's biomes. While Minecraft has a lot of different biomes, such as deserts, forests, and mountains, many of these biomes feel very similar. This can make exploring the world become monotonous and repetitive.

In addition, although Minecraft has a very popular multiplayer mode, the game has no official way to protect private servers. This means that servers can be vulnerable to attacks from hackers or malicious players. While there are third-party solutions to this problem, there is no official game solution. As an active player, it is always annoying to encounter hackers, they ruin your experience every time.

Another aspect that can be a problem for some players is the lack of clear objectives in the game. While Minecraft has some pre-set objectives, such as defeating the final boss, the End dragon, many players may feel that the game has no clear goal after that. While this may be appealing to some players who enjoy creative freedom, it can be a problem for others who prefer to have a clear goal for their gaming experience.

Another problem some players may have with Minecraft is the lack of interaction with NPCs. While there are some NPCs in the game, such as villagers and animals, most of them do not have an important function in the game and there is not much dialogue with them. This can make the world of Minecraft feel a bit empty and lifeless.

In terms of sound and music, Minecraft has an iconic soundtrack and a variety of sound effects that help create an immersive atmosphere in the game world. However, some players may find that the music gets repetitive after a while and may prefer to listen to their own music while playing. I literally don't use the in-game music, I find it boring and it makes me want to cry haha.

In summary (in case you don't want to read everything)

Minecraft is a very successful game that has attracted a large number of players around the world. Its creative freedom and the ability for players to create anything they can imagine are one of the main attractions of the game. However, there are some problems with the game, such as the lack of a proper tutorial, monotony in exploration, and lack of clear objectives. Despite these problems, Minecraft remains a very popular game that has managed to maintain its relevance in the gaming world for more than a decade.

..

Really, regarding the music, it seems monotonous to me xD I prefer to listen to music from YouTube while I play and I also feel identified with the objectives and is that after killing the dragon what is done? It's a matter of exploring and collecting resources to build buildings or your own world, although it is true that it is a fairly entertaining game apart from those aspects.
