OMG! This port It is built on more than 80k lines of code o.O this represents a monumental job on the part of the developers.
By the way it's really cool that this port will be a highly optimized version of Link to the past itself.
Cool post, pal.
Regards.
My jaw dropped when I saw how many lines of code it took to make A Link to the Past. That may not sound like a lot today with developers that fall back on engines and such with unoptimized code or whatever but back then, the early 90's, I am sure that was A LOT of code.
What is even better about this port is, developers can add and remove things as they see fit and code them in. If someone was ingenuitive enough they could add a two player mode, new enemies, levels, etc.
The possibilities are almost endless.
Oh, I'm agree pal, a two players mode would be great for sure (y) .
I'll be watching for further developments on this project :)
