My Journey Through God of War: Ragnarok

in Hive Gaming2 years ago

I recently had the opportunity to play God of War: Ragnarok, and it was an epic journey from start to finish. The game is a direct sequel to the 2018 God of War, and it picks up right where the previous game left off. Kratos and Atreus are still on their journey to find a new home, and they're now facing even greater challenges than before.

The game is absolutely stunning to look at. The environments are incredibly detailed, and the character models are some of the best I've ever seen. The combat is also incredibly satisfying. Kratos has a wide variety of weapons and abilities at his disposal, and he can use them to take down enemies in a variety of creative ways.

The story is also incredibly engaging. Kratos and Atreus are forced to confront their past, and they must learn to deal with the consequences of their actions. The game also introduces a number of new characters, some of whom are incredibly memorable.

Here are some of the things that I enjoyed most about the game:
  • The story: The story is incredibly well-written and engaging. It's a personal story about family, loss, and redemption. Kratos and Atreus are both well-developed characters, and I found myself caring about them deeply. The game also does a great job of exploring the Norse mythology, and I learned a lot about the gods and their stories.
  • The characters: The characters are all well-developed and relatable. Kratos is a complex and sympathetic character, and Atreus is a charming and endearing young boy. I also enjoyed the new characters that were introduced in the game, such as Freya, Thor, and Tyr.
  • The combat: The combat is incredibly satisfying. Kratos has a wide variety of weapons and abilities at his disposal, and he can use them to take down enemies in a variety of creative ways. The combat is also very challenging, and I found myself having to use all of my skills to survive.
  • The world: The world is incredibly detailed and beautiful. There are a lot of hidden secrets to discover, and the game world is full of life. I loved exploring the different realms, and I always felt like I was discovering something new.

Overall, God of War: Ragnarok is an incredible game. It's a must-play for any fan of action RPGs, and it's sure to be one of the best games of the year.

Here are some of the things that I would have liked to see improved:
  • The puzzles: The puzzles in the game were a bit too easy. I would have liked to see some more challenging puzzles that would have required me to use my brain a bit more.
  • The length: The game was a bit short. I would have liked to see more content, especially in terms of side quests.

Despite these minor issues, I still loved God of War: Ragnarok. It's an incredible game that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys action RPGs.
Here are some additional thoughts about the game:
  • I loved the way the game handled Kratos's past. It was clear that he was still haunted by his actions in Greece, but he was trying to move on and be a better father to Atreus.
  • I also loved the way the game explored the relationship between Kratos and Atreus. They were clearly very close, and I enjoyed watching them grow and learn together.
  • I thought the game did a great job of balancing action and story. The combat was incredibly satisfying, but the story was also engaging and well-written.
  • I'm excited to see what happens next in the God of War series. I'm sure that Santa Monica Studio will continue to deliver incredible games.

My previous @v4vapp proposal has expired. I have a new one which is running but unfunded right now. I'm still running @v4vapp and all my other services.

I've just updated v4v.app and I'm getting ready for some exciting new features after the next hard fork.

Please consider asking your friends to vote for prop #265 or consider unvoting the return vote.

For understandable reasons in the current crypto climate it is harder to get funded by the DHF, I accept this so I'm asking a wider audience for help again. I'll also add that I power up Hive every day and usually power up larger amounts on 1st of the Month. I'm on Hive for ideological reasons much more than for only economic benefit.

Additionally you can also help with a vote for Brianoflondon's Witness using KeyChain or HiveSigner

If you have used v4v.app I'd really like to hear your feedback, and if you haven't I'd be happy to hear why or whether there are other things you want it to do.
