I took a long time to play Marvel Avengers, with a mixture of curiosity and a fear that the game would be poor. On the one hand, it is a game from the creators of Crystal Dynamics, creators who can make games, and on the other hand, I really didn't feel like another game about farming.

It took a while, but I finally played it, went through the campaign, saw the other modes, and I can tell you a bit about the game. I'm not disappointed because I didn't have high expectations, but I'm not happy either. Let's start with the good points of Marvel Avengers.

I was concerned that the campaign would be fake, as with most similar games, which are games so focused on farming and leveling that there is no storyline there. Fortunately, it is much different here, because the campaign lasts several hours, there are quite a lot of interesting things there.
The adventure begins with a girl named Kamala who arrives at some party celebrating our heroes. Suddenly, a reactor that the Avengers were about to unveil explodes. It destroyed a large part of San Francisco. We can play any character for a moment and then everything blows up. The Avengers are found guilty of the deaths of large numbers of people and go underground. It turns out that some witnesses of the above events got Superpowers, became so-called Inhumans, and are persecuted by Aim organizations.

Kamala also got Super Powers. In her case - super extensibility. Soon, the girl will start looking for the Avengers scattered around the world to gather them again and oppose the evil AIM organization, and she will become Miss Marvel (Not to be confused with Captain Marvel). Of course, no one looks like movie characters, but it wouldn't make sense anyway because the plot doesn't match what happened in the companies at all. The Avengers here are more comic, they have slightly different characters. The story in Marvel Avengers is not overly thrilling, but if someone likes the story of falling and bouncing off the bottom, he enjoys the heroes exchanging little drama with each other, but ultimately finds their strength in unity, there are such things here.

Most missions are of the type - go there, beat those and so on, but not all, but Almost all, because there are also stages that resemble a normal single-player game, for example, some parkour escape, And this Ironman is flying in a special armor to the space station. It's not much, but you can see that the developers tried to diversify the game and I appreciate it. I must admit that the creators combined a lot to make each character play differently. Each of the heroes has a power bar, but it works differently for everyone.

Unfortunately, this game is built to farm upgrades, which in my opinion completely ruins the gameplay. To be able to fight bigger and stronger enemies, you need to find new items and keep improving. In the Basic Campaign, this only matters when playing on higher difficulty levels, but we still have a lot to do after the campaign. We also unlock new skills, and that's okay. We can also collect items and break them, from which we can improve our other things. We improve our equipment and cosmetic elements, i.e. we change the vest for a better look, but it does not make any sense because the skins and appearance of the characters are purchased separately, only the numbers change.

Summary

The game In some respects Correct but generally annoying with these microtransactions.
It's a pity because this game has a potentially good game and in my opinion, it spoils the atmosphere a bit.
