Hello to everyone, i've been in the gaming world since i was like 9 years old with the first Halo on xbox, and after 15 years of xbox i decided back to 2018 to build my first PC (i didn't expect the difference was so much compared to a console!)
So i went to the first random group of gaming and asked for a build like a real noob 😆 and that's my actual gaming PC.(after that experience i started studying every component and new devices, taking it as passion and building a lot of PC's for my friends, doing it well and not randomly as i did for mine)
I was so excited when all those devices arrived btw,
And that's after 8/10 hours of trying to put things in the right place watching youtube videos...
I've been so happy that it worked without so many troubles,i took windows at 7€ on amazon(the original one).
Now let's see all the components i took and all the mistakes i've done building it...
The corsair x570 Crystal(white edition) i took it on promotion and paid about 190€,how can't you love this case, even if i could spent a lot less for this and powering up the cpu or gpu (and that's the first mistake imo).
This is the B360Pro, a really basic Motherboard, but still doing his work really well,(bios was already upgraded and it supported the 8Th gen intel), i spent about 90€ for this back in 2018,and it will probably be the first thing i will upgrade once i'll be ready (i'm learning a lot about liquid custom refrigeration and will upgrade the all build once i'm ready)
My zotac 1060 AMP 6GB Edition, never had a problem with graphic or games, i would buy it again at that price,100% satisfied by this gpu, never had a problem and still working like it should,i will make another post with my benchmark and all the temperatures under stress so you can see how good is this without spending 700€ on a graphic card( i could pay 100€ less for the case and buy a 1080 btw xD)
I5 8400, i don't personally think you need to overclock cpu or gpu if you want to play chill in full hd, this 6 core Cpu is more than enough for playing at everything you want without any problem,a really nice cpu in my opinion, never had a problem and temps are always really low(i use an air dissipator).
Corsair Vegneance RGB 2x8 gb 2666Mhz ,i'll be honest with you i wanted to take the 3200Mhz or 3600Mhz, but the motherboard was already arrived and it could not support more than 2666Mhz (Grrrr),but i'm honestly satisfied by those ram, still working even on the latest games at really high performances(i have 0 lag frame in every game, maybe cause i play at 75 fps and not at 144 xD)
As power supply i took this EVGA 550, it was the only fully modular version i found under 100€,now i would take 100% the sharkoon 650(sharkoon is being one of the best marks in those kind of stuffs imo)
Samsung EVO 970 250GB, i have only the OS installed inside it, make your pc literaly an airplane in terms of speed,i didn't expect that speed after pressing the power button on the case, but you really need one in your build trust me x).
A standard WD Black 1 TB HDD, not a lot to say about it, you can upgrade to 2tb or as much as you need just adding a new one,i honestly think i will buy another 2TB one cause i have a lot of games i love to play and 1 TB is not enough if you like to have a lot of stuffs installed...
Now imagine to spend 60€ for 2 140 mm Fans, but yes i liked a lot rgb stuffs, and i wasn't really knowing what i was buying,at least they are super silence and high performing fans,i will show you my airflow and my temperatures in another post if you like those kind of posts (cpu is around 55° under stress and gpu never went over 67°playing for a lot of hours at full hd),i almost took one 120mm fan(the 3 front fans where included in the case).
Too big.
This is the Shadow rock 2 be quiet air dissipator, Honestly happy about the cooling, but it's really too big guys, i had a lot of troubles installing the ram near the dissipator, but hey it keep all freezed so it's still good no?
As monitor i could take a 144 Mhz one, but i remember the prices was so damn high for gaming monitor,so i just took a 27" curved samsung, after installing all the upgrades and drivers you can play in full HD at 75 Mhz, with 4Ms and freesync, the only thing i can say by using it for 2 years is that every friend who took a look at it was like 😮,i personaly really like it, but i would not re-buy it now,you can take something better for 270€(that's how much i paid it).
Logitech G502 Proteus spectrum, really worth to spend 60/70€ for a G502 if you find it in promotion like i did, i personally love the feeling and all the things you can custom, i would re-buy it 100 times, and i can say it's one of the best mouse in commerce to my honest opinion.
The last piece of my actual build, Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2(idk why you can't find it anymore on amazon,at least in italy),i took it at 190€ and i definetely think it's totally worth to spend a bit more on the keyboard if you play a lot of hours,2 years using it and it still seems new, great feeling on the green razer switch and really you can customize everything with the razer cortex software.(i was in hype i don't honestly know if i will spend 2 bucks for a keyboard again xD).
That's it guys, this is the PC i actually use for gaming,i play at every game at 75 fps in full HD keeping everything on "high" and some stuffs at "ultra"
I know i could make a better PC with all that money (i spent like 2k€ to buy everything)
but it was my first experience in the world of PC building, after that i really studied a lot about all the new devices and performance, starting to build pc for my friends and dreaming about upgrade mine to one of those super pc you see when you search on google x).
i wanted to share with all of you my experience, and this is how i fell in love with pc gaming world.
If you enjoyed the reading, i will prepare a post with some benchmark of my pc and the pc's i've built after!
