Yesterday was my free day off work, so I slept in late and decided to warm up my Console (say around 10-ish. and noticed my FIFA had crashed 🤡. I wasn't sure what to do with the rest of my day so I set out on a mission to find COD WWII.
I've been meaning to get this game for the longest time but never really came around to it... why? Cause it's predecessor "The COD: Infinite warfare" was still pissing me off. I mean wtf was that? Since Infinite warfare with it's futuristic space battles that were boringggggg, I decided to take a long break off the entire franchise. Then COD WWII came, as you can already tell I stayed skeptical for 4years about it Lol.
My first "D Day" game memory was from the Medal of Honor franchise. The rush of landing on those beaches on the offensive and making a run for cover under heavy enemy fire.. nostalgic, and I needed that with COD WWII.
SO YESTERDAY...
I found a guy willing to part with his COD WWII for around $10... which was a steal for me. i picked it up and got home under heavy downpour. Popped it in and my lights went out from the heavy rain (haha mother nature, what a day I was having). I was stuck with watching reviews of the game on YouTube and everybody had only good things to say about the game.
What I expect However
- Better storyline than Infinite warfare
- WWII Guns.. handguns and gun handling
- Better maps
- Battleground; if the servers are still up anyway
what are your thoughts on COD WWII?
I haven't played it recently (within the past year) but I enjoyed the game. I liked the campaign and found it was very well done. The multiplayer is a bit different with them having divisions and having weapons locked (IIRC) to the division you're playing as. The zombies on it too was also fun. It was more objective based and offered a variety of "powers" you could choose from to help you in game.
