This is an action-adventure video game developed by FromSoftware and released in March 2019. Set in a fictional feudal Japan, “Sekiro” offers an immersive experience that combines elements of stealth, combat and exploration.

The player assumes the role of “Wolf,” a lone warrior who seeks to rescue his lord, Kuro, a young man with a special lineage who possesses the power of immortality.

The story unfolds in a world filled with Japanese mythology, where players encounter a variety of supernatural creatures and formidable enemies.

As the plot progresses, Wolf must confront powerful adversaries and unravel the secrets surrounding his mission and his own identity.

One of the most distinctive features of “Sekiro” is its combat system. Unlike other FromSoftware titles, such as “Dark Souls” or “Bloodborne,” “Sekiro” focuses on stance and parry mechanics.

Players must learn to read their enemies' movements and counter their attacks at the right moment to break their stance and unleash a deadly attack.

This mechanic adds a layer of strategy and precision to combat, requiring players to be patient and watchful of every move.

The game also incorporates stealth elements, allowing players to approach combat situations in different ways. Wolf can use his surroundings to hide, perform silent assassinations and evade enemies.

This combination of direct combat and stealth offers a varied and dynamic experience, allowing players to choose their own play style.

Exploration is another key aspect of “Sekiro.” The world is interconnected and full of secrets, shortcuts and hidden areas that invite players to investigate.

As they progress, players can unlock skills and upgrades that allow them to access new areas and face more difficult challenges.

The verticality of the world's design also stands out, as Wolf can climb and jump between platforms, adding an extra dimension to exploration.

Visually, “Sekiro” is stunning, with an art style that captures the beauty and brutality of feudal Japan.

The landscapes, from serene temples to devastated battlefields, are meticulously designed, creating an immersive atmosphere.

The soundtrack, composed by Tsukasa Saitoh, complements the experience, heightening the excitement and tension during combat and key moments in the story.
