“Pokémon Sun” and ‘Pokémon Moon’ are role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS system.
Released in November 2016, these titles represent the seventh generation of the Pokémon franchise and are set in the Alola region, an archipelago inspired by Hawaii.
The story of “Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon” follows a young trainer who embarks on an adventure to become the Pokémon League Champion.
Throughout the game, players must capture and train Pokémon, battle other trainers and solve mysteries surrounding the Alola region.

Unlike previous games, where gyms were the main focus, “Sun” and “Moon” introduce the trial system, where players must complete challenges and face the Kahunas, leaders of the region.
One of the most notable features of these games is the inclusion of new Pokémon forms, known as “Alola Forms,” which feature regional variations of classic Pokémon.
For example, Alola's Vulpix is Ice-type, in contrast to its original Fire-type form. In addition, new Pokémon are introduced, such as the legendary Solgaleo and Lunala, representing the sun and moon, respectively.
The game also features a more narrative approach, with memorable characters such as Lillie, Gladion and Team Skull, a group of villains that add a touch of humor and challenge to the story.
The relationship between characters and their development throughout the game are key elements that enrich the player's experience.

Visually, “Pokémon Sun” and “Pokémon Moon” offer enhanced graphics and a vibrant art style that captures the beauty of the Alola region.
The environments are diverse, from sunny beaches to dense jungles, inviting players to explore and discover hidden secrets.
In addition, the game includes new mechanics, such as the “Pokémon Refresh” system, which allows players to care for and pamper their Pokémon, improving their happiness and strengthening their bond.
Also introduced are “Ultra Beasts,” mysterious creatures that add a new level of challenge and exploration to the game.
Really great games, I have both on 3DS and I play them often, in their ultra versions, they are excellent Pokémon that still have a lot of life left.
I like the ultra versions of these games. Battling Giovanni from Team Rocket & all the leaders of all the "cults" is fun.
