This a good fighting genre game, I remember playing it. Something that has given me quite uneasy is to see how this game did not gain so much popularity at the time, in my opinion it keeps pretty good graphics and even a little better than the Tekken 3 game. It is true that Tekken is par excellence the best, but I think Dead or Alive deserved a little more recognition in its genre.
Those were times in which there were many fighting games and also consoles, but it is considered one of the best and pioneer in the counterattack moves, which were later used by others.
I loved this game, I remember it had a magazine and I learned how to play almost all the characters in the second installment, I even played it on arcade machines haha
And you didn't play the last ones?
I did get to play it, and I liked it, although I never liked those blows that take you half your life in fighting games, and they implemented it in these new installments
