Hello, fellow gamers,
it is this time of the week when I publish the update on what is free to grab in the Epic Store. I hope that every week someone will find a good game to play.
Rules for Epic Store free games
Epic Store is giving free game(s) every week. The games received that way are not time-limited, like Steem weekend promotions, but they are connected to your account. Of course, there is no 100% guarantee that sometime in the future something might happen to them, as we all know that we do not buy games in the store (including Steam, Epic and Gog and all others as well) but just "rent" them.
Games
This week's free games to take are:
Kerbal - Space program
OK, I am kind of hyped for this game. I heard about it when it was in its rising phase. However, I never had time, money, or will to buy it so it was always on my "I need to buy and try it"
The aim of the game is to help an alien race, Kerbals, to kickstart the Space program and reach the stars. As much as I know about the game it is in the kind of these are the parts now build me a rocket, and as a result, most of the projects/rockets are going to fail spectacularly.
As far as I understand the game is a mix of staff going terribly wrong and try-and-fail attempts to reach the end goal.

Shadow Tactics - Aiko's choice
The base game has bee added as a freebie in the Epic Store a few weeks ago. I manged to run it twice before it stoped working for me but the game is good. It reminded me of the nineties and the original commander game. I have tons of fun with them.
For those who are too young to know Commandos. The games are the isometric real-time tactical game. You manage a team of unique characters, who share some basic skills but they have their own unique one, on the team behind enemy lines. Usually, the aim of the game is to do a stealth mission but a gun-blazing approach was also possible sometimes. The maps are vast so there tends to be more than one path to the target. Now it is common but because it was not in 90.
I suppose that Aiko's Choice will be an equally good game if it will work
KSP is so much fun! My cousin and I spent a ton of time playing that game. I never did very well with it, but he managed some pretty cool exploration of the solar system and built some wild stuff with it! Highly recommend - and now there's a ton of quality of life mods around too, which is really handy.
Haha, this game makes me feel like I work for NASA because of how complicated it is, I didn't even know how to play it well xd
I have a feeling this is the true meaning of this game. You fail 99% of the time to be proud of 1% when you are successful.
