Genshin Impact - My Surprise Favorite Character + Some Tips

My friends often tell me that I got really lucky because I got an off-pity Ganyu (Pull #56), and at the time I really didn't believe them. I was trying to wait for Xiao, and Ganyu had to come home early. Oh well, that's what I get for building pity. My friends had to lose their 50-50 to get their Liyue Qixing Secretary, while I was neutral towards her as I was only trying to get Xiangling dupes because I enjoy playing Xiangling.

To add fuel to the fire, I got an Amos Bow at Pull #13 on the standard banner. I remember my friends being really salty because again, I wasn't aiming for Ganyu, I didn't even have a main bow user other than Tartaglia, and I was F2P at the time (Now, I've only had three Welkin Moons and a Battle Pass). I even joked that I'd use my Amos Bow on Amber.

Now, some months after her banner exit, she's easily became one of my favorite characters in the game because of her lore, gameplay, and design. And she's never really left my team ever since. I think I've spent a huge chunk of my mora on her as I have her talents at 10-6-9. Every time I get a chance at rerolling an artifact, I do it. Here's my Ganyu's stats by far.

Some people may say ascending a unit all the way to Level 90 maybe a waste, but I think the extra attack is worth it considering Ganyu's scaling.

To this day, I still have friends telling me how lucky I am, LOL.

TIPS

• I personally like using 4-piece Wanderer's Troupe on her for both Main DPS and support, as it gives her a decent amount of damage when I trigger elemental reactions. I also use a Crit Dmg circlet, as I use cryo resonance on her for the Crit Rate buff.
• If you find it hard to aim even with the bloom, you could use use 2pc Blizzard Strayer and 2pc Noblesse Oblige. My friend uses this for their Ganyu, and I've heard nothing but good news. She can still deal a good amount of damage, and the added damage on her ultimate would deal extra damage for your DPS.
• My current team comp is Ganyu (Main DPS), Diona (Battery, Resonance, and Shield), Xiangling (Melt enabler and Sub DPS), and Bennett (Battery and Buff). Reverse Melt with Ganyu is really good,

Sooner or later, we're going to have a Ganyu rerun. I don't know if I'll be getting her constalletions yet, as I still want Xiao. With the release of more characters from Inazuma, I doubt my primogems will make it, but we never know. May we all get that characters that we're hoping for!
