In my last Sandrock post, the Minister had been kidnapped! π±π±π±
Lily the magnificent Builder of Sandrock and Justice and Unsuur from the Civil Corps chased down the bandits who had kidnapped the Minister and hoped they could rescue the treacherous hag poor woman before anything could happen to her.
With any luck, they'd finally catch that dastardly bandit, too.
They chased the bandit into a twisting cave, following the Minister's shrieks of terror.
Whatever could that dastardly bandit be doing to her!? They hurried faster, then caught the bandits in the act... torturing the Minister with... a... feather duster. Tickling her to torment.
The bandit doing the tickling seemed but a child! Logan the outlaw had no shame, or so it seemed.
They demanded to know where the water was. They seemed to believe that the Minister was hiding the important resource from the rest of the town...
...but there was no time to eavesdrop on more demands. As Lily and her two combatant friends entered the cavern, Logan went on the defensive and a great battle was fought.
It was exhilarating, fighting the outlaw himself, and Lily was certain she had the upper hand of the fight, she was kicking Logan's arse.
But, as though he knew he was losing, he leapt towards the Minister and sent her rolling away into the nothingness. Lily had a choice. Save the Minister or chase down the bandit... and she chose to save the Minister.
They had lost Logan yet again, but they had rescued the Minister. She was safe. They would always be able to capture Logan another time, but one's life was just that - one life.
The Minister's right hand man, Miguel, was infuriated. The town's defence personnel were nothing but a bunch of useless numpties who couldn't even catch an outlaw cornered in a cave. He demanded that they hire a bounty hunter and take out Logan once and for all!
The mayor and minister looked at eachother, and sullenly agreed. They couldn't have Logan just running around kidnapping people. He must be dealt with at last.
It was the end of Lily's first year as a Builder of Sandrock.
To celebrate the new year, the town celebrated with fireworks and copious amounts of food and a lot of bonfire dancing. Lily partook in the activities but her mind was too focused on the white-haired man who lurked in the desert. This, Logan character. What did he want, why was he harrassing Sandrock, why was he hellbent on causing trouble?
Maybe this next year, she would find out.
The first day of the new year came, and Lily was ecstatic to find that she had been crowned Builder of the Year!
She had come to Sandrock but a fledgling builder, a noob at her craft, and now she was well renowned across all the land for her magnificence and artistry with a pickhammer.
Her boss, Yan, was horrified that he wasn't crowned Builder of the Year and tried to refuse her rightful trophy, but she snatched it right out of his hands and proudly displayed it before all her fellow builders. She was the greatest!
She ran around town, waving her trophy in the air, excitedly telling anyone who would listen that she was the Builder of the Year! Everyone seemed happy for her and told her that she had worked hard and had deserved the trophy.
One person, however, had other things on their mind. Elsie, the farmer's daughter, was contemplating Logan and what he wanted. She had grown up with him and didn't know why he was acting the way he was. Surely he had a reason. Surely there was something going on that they didn't know about...
Lily, ever curious also, told Elsie that they'd discover the truth together!
But, the next day, the bounty hunter that the mayor hired showed up to town.
He was strangely........ child-like. And referred to himself as the Kid. And there was something strange about the short young man. Lily didn't trust him.
This little person surely couldn't be the bounty hunter that the mayor had hired? Right?
Right!
For Lily soon uncovered the truth. Bronco the Kid, supposed bounty hunter hired to hunt down Logan and his band of outlaws, was an outlaw himself!!!
The very child Logan had on hand in the cave to torment and terrorise the minister with a ticklish feather duster was standing before them, pretending to be a bounty hunter. He was surveying them. Trying to find weaknesses in the town. And Lily had caught him red-handed.
And now... now he was forced into the church's care where he would spend his days becoming indoctrinated into being a hard-working member of their town. And hopefully they could convince him to give up Logan and his whereabouts, or at least find out what the heck was happening with the whole outlaw situation.

Until next time! π΅π

Why would Lily save the
treacherous hagpoor woman? What a wasted opportunity. xDHiring outlaws as bounty hunters? It might just work too in some cases lol.
Honestly, I clicked the wrong button! XD XD XD So, had to justify saving the Minister. It's okay... that
treacherous hagwill have her moment... I mean, for story purposes, we're not meant to know that she's a hag yet, but, I have no choice but to keep writing it. πThere is only one appropiate punishment when Logan is caught, BEHEADING HIM!
π± Drastic!!!!!! π€£
Not drastic enough!
The plot of this game is quite hilarious.
It definitely has some amusing moments. xD
