Hunting 🐉 Xeno'jiiva | 🛡️Monster Hunter World ⚔️| Monster Review

in Hive Gaming4 years ago

Hunters, if you're planning to go hunting for a Xeno'jiiva, I've brought you some information today that might be helpful. Hunting a Xeno'jiiva is only possible if you have already completed the main story of the game and will be able to replay this high ranking mission.

Xeno'jiiva is a dragon, but it's not just another dragon, it belongs to the Elder classification. It's gigantic, one of those monsters that goes beyond the screen limit, blue in color and charged with energy. It is said that it absorbs the energy of other ancient dragons and that is why it has that bright blue color.

It's not a relaxed combat, this dragon attacks constantly and you'll have to use all your skills. It shoots energy rays, you use its legs to attack and its tail. Like all monsters in MHW, when it gets angry, Xeno'jiiva concentrates energy on different parts of its body and causes explosions when it attacks you with them. Its energy rays can melt the ground and cause additional burn damage.

Being such a giant monster, it has its pros and cons. Its attacks will reach wide areas, but at the same time it will be difficult to hit you with some attacks. Using a bow helps to hit a good amount of hits and keep your distance, but also using other melee weapons can be effective if you attack and retreat constantly.

All you have to worry about is the lightning strikes, which will cause you great harm. Other than that, you'll be able to deal with it no problem if you go in with a good defense and your feline partner is well equipped.

Weaknesses and breakable parts

Xeno'jiiva is super weak to poison and intermediate to blast. All elements (fire, water, lightning, ice, dragon) cause good damage to it so, whatever elemental weapon you carry, it will work for you. I used Cross Hunters Bow, which causes blast state to the enemy. As it's an old dragon, if you go with the dragon element, you'll be able to prevent it from doing certain special attacks and maybe have a quieter battle, but if you like adrenaline like I do, leave that element aside LOL.

An interesting point is that, while not angry, some elements cause more damage than others. If you attack with fire it will cause more damage, as well as with blast, but when it becomes angry and ignites in energy, attacking with ice or water will cause more damage. Whatever element you use to attack, target your attacks at the most effective areas whether or not Xeno'jiiva is enraged.

You can break its wings, horns and head, legs and best of all, cut off its tail. Keep in mind that the more you break a monster, the better the rewards. Cutting off the tail is extremely important if you want to obtain the Xeno'jiiva gem, which is useful for making weapons and armor. Concentrate your attacks on these weak points and in time, you will be victorious.

Join the fun, grab your best weapon, equip yourself with the greatest defense possible, the new world awaits you in Monster Hunter World.

Great guide and gameplay!

Being someone who uses mainly poison weaponry, you got my attention with the 'super weak to poison' so I'm going to try my luck one of those days!

Thanks. If you use weapons that cause poison, you will be able to fight this monster without any problem.
