How's it going, fellow Splinterlanders? Do you have a favorite battle lineup or strategy? I've been playing the game Splinterlands since the Beta days back in 2018 and to be honest, my attack formation hasn't changed that much. It depends on the ruleset and mana allowed, but for the most part, I pretty much make sure I have a strong tank and reach attacker in the first and second slots. I'll then put somebody fast in the third slot in case the enemy has a snipe attacker so they can dodge. I love putting a healer and or amorer in the fourth or fifth spot and then I'll either put a meatshield or someone strong with self-healing in the final position to protect the rear.

This battle is a pretty typical lineup for me. I love my dragon cards so I'll put out Djinn Chwala as my tank because she just seems to win a lot. It's because she has a strong attack, a decent life and shields, and of course those wonderful thorns that do damage to any melee attackers. It's a great card because it cost me nothing. I leveled her to MAX-level just by playing the game every day and combining my Reward Cards. The reach attacker, Carnage Titan is awesome at MAX level because it will do a double strike which can cause up to 8 damage points. If it kills the enemy's tank with the first strike it will deal the second strike on the next card in their lineup and if my tank dies, he will work perfectly fine as a tank himself. Other than the healer, the rest of the cards in this fight didn't get much thought from me and didn't matter to the battle victory either. I just used up as much mana as possible. I figure as long as every card is doing something like attacking, healing, buffing me, or nerfing the enemy and it makes sense mana-wise I'll click on it. I've found it's better to use up all six slots than rely on some powerful card and only use up four or five slots. It's also helpful to have a diversity of cards so you have something for every ruleset and mana situation.

Ok, now it's time to flex. Here's my collection of dragon cards. I wish they were all at MAX power and there are some expensive dragon cards I'd love to add to my deck, but these beauties are getting the job done. If you are a new player or are leveling up your deck on a budget, I'd recommend getting your dragons strong before any other splinter because they can be used in almost every fight and they are just generally stronger than the other cards. You should also get your neutral cards strong because they can also be used in almost every fight, but neutral cards tend to be on the weaker side. Thanks for reading about my battle style and dragon cards today. What about you? What's your typical battle strategy?
