Hello to all the Hive Gaming community, I hope you are great, today I bring you another great retro game that I decided to try again and this game was one of those epic games that I managed to finish in my childhood but never 100% so the challenge I set myself was to find all the crystals of Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped and I'm not going to deny that this game has a pretty serious difficulty level (or maybe it's because of my lack of practice at it haha) but it's still just as entertaining no matter how many years go by.

This game brought us the combination of the two previous installments of the saga and is that we have both a portal to teleport and an entry to different levels (things we saw in the second and first game), in this game we will have 5 portals, but you can only enter the first at the beginning, as we progress through the game the other portals will open. In each portal we will have 5 worlds and 1 boss also to access the battle with the boss we will have to get at least 1 crystal in each world; when we manage to defeat one of the bosses we will gain some extra ability that will not be useful in the worlds of the next portal.

We will continue to have many classic aspects of the saga, such as collecting Wumpa fruits (if we collect 100 we will gain an extra life) or to find boxes with the face of Aku Aku we generate a protection (depending on how many of these we break), also something very cool about this game is that in the different worlds we will travel through different times (for example the middle ages) and different worlds in which we will drive vehicles (such as motorcycles or jet skis), also in some worlds we will use Crash's sister, Coco to use her pet tiger. In order to finish the worlds at 100% we will have to find between 3 and 4 gems, depending on the world, which we will win by finishing the level, destroying all the boxes and beating the time in each one.

This game was made by Naughty Dog and distributed by Sony Computer Entertainment Universal Interactive Studios (which we can see in the great intro of the game), being released for the PlayStation 1 in 1998, this game was the last of the original saga that was released for this console and due to the great success and affection it has among fans was re-released for the PSP and PS3 in 2008. This game has been so successful commercially that it is in the 9th place of the best selling Playstation games.

This game really marked my childhood because it was one of the most difficult games I managed to complete as a child, also ironically was the first game I played of the series so I did not know much of the history of Crash at that time hahaha, over the years I understood that this was the first game in which the evil counterpart of Aku Aku (called Uka Uka) was introduced and that this would be the one behind Dr Cortex, also the bosses of this game seemed really cool and difficult (for me N. Tropy was one of the most complicated), I hope this game was also part of the childhood of many of the members of the community and that this post attacks a little bit your nostalgia, if nothing else to add we will see each other in another post.

Hola a toda la comunidad de Hive Gaming, espero se encuentren genial, hoy les traigo otro genial juego un poco retro que decidí volver a intentar y es que este juego fue uno de esos épicos juegos que logré terminar en mi infancia pero nunca al 100% así que el reto que me puse fue lograr encontrar todos los cristales de Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped y es no voy a negar que este juego tiene un nivel de dificultad bastante serio (o puede ser por mi falta de practica en el mismo jaja) pero sigue siendo igual de entretenido si importar el pasar de los años.

Este juego nos trajo la combinación de las dos entregas anteriores de la saga y es que tenemos tanto un portal para teletransportarnos y un ingreso a diferentes niveles (cosas que vimos en el segundo y primer juego), en este juego tendremos 5 portales, pero solo se podrá entrar al primero al inicio, conforme vamos avanzando en el juego los demás portales se irán abriendo. En cada portal tendremos 5 mundos y 1 boss además para poder acceder a la batalla con el boss tendremos que obtener al menos 1 cristal en cada mundo; cuando logremos vencer a uno de los bosses ganaremos alguna habilidad extra que no será útil en los mundos del siguiente portal.

Seguiremos teniendo muchos aspectos clásicos de la saga, como recolectar las frutas Wumpa (si recolectamos 100 ganaremos una vida extra) o poder encontrar cajas con la cara de Aku Aku nos generan una protección (dependiendo de cuantas de estas rompamos), además algo muy genial de este juego es que en los diferentes mundos viajaremos por diferentes épocas (por ejemplo al edad media) y diferentes mundos en los que manejaremos vehículos (como motocicletas o motos de agua), además en algunos mundos usaremos a la hermana de Crash, Coco para poder utilizar a su tigre mascota. Para poder finalizar los mundos al 100% tendremos que encontrar dependiendo del mundo entre 3 y 4 gemas, las cuales ganaremos al terminar el nivel, a destruir todas las cajas y al vencer al tiempo que se nos en cada uno.

Este juego fue hecho por Naughty Dog y distribuido por Sony Computer Entertainment Universal Interactive Studios (los cuales podemos ver en el genial intro del juego), siendo lanzado para el PlayStation 1 en 1998, este juego fue el ultimo de la saga original que fue lanzado para esta consola y debido al gran éxito y cariño que tiene entre los fanáticos fue re lanzado para el PSP y el PS3 en el 2008. Este juego realmente marco mucho mi infancia porque fue uno de los juegos mas difícil que logre completar de niño, ademas irónicamente fue el primero que jugué de la saga así que no sabia mucho de la historia de Crash en ese entonces jajaja, con el pasar de los años entendí que este era el primer juego en el que se introducía a la contraparte malvada de Aku Aku (llamado Uka Uka) y que este seria el que estaría detrás del Dr Cortex, ademas los bosses de este juego me parecían realmente geniales y difíciles (para mi N. Tropy fue uno de los mas complicados), espero que este juego también haya formado parte de la infancia de muchos de los miembros de la comunidad y que este post ataque un poco su nostalgia, si nada mas que agregar nos veremos en otro post.
