Hello itinerants all over the world and hive community! What's up with you guys? I really wish you all doing okay. As we count days and wait for the uncertainties of this pandemic, we all are also busy surviving the everyday struggles that we face each day that this quarantine season has brought us. During this trying time, we've discovered and done new things. Also, we're able to go back with our old hobbies just to keep our sanity as it is.

It's actually my first post here in #HiveGaming community and please allow me to introduce myself. I am @itinerantph and I've been in the HIVE blockchain for quite sometime now. I normally post contents about travel, food, community meet ups, education and life blog. I am very glad to know that there's this gaming community where you can meet a lot of gamers from different parts of the world. I've been reading posts here already and I learned a lot of games and gaming tips from the community so I decided to share my gaming experiences here too with my favorite online games.

Aside from travelling, photography, attending community events, studying online and writing blogs about anything, I am also fond of playing computer games. I have always been a gamer ever since when I was in elementary. I've tried so many online and offline games in my lifetime. It just happened that Adulting has struck me and had to prioritize things over playing computer. In this pandemic, I realized how important it is to find a hobby or to do things that release your stress and that's why I go back to it.

I don't know with you guys but for me every time I play computer games, I always feel like I'm the character and I'm in a new world. It really does give a sense of calm, acceptance and confidence by just playing my in game character. I also get to talk to other players not being afraid of being judged because you can play it anonymously.

For today's episode, I'll be sharing about my all time favorite online game which is the Tantra Online MMORPG. I started playing this when I was in elementary. If you are born in 90's for sure you've heard about this game. It used to be a leveling game but after the shutdown of the original creator and developer of the game here in the Philippines, many have decided to develop the game in private servers. There are some changes already like you can automatically make your characters in max level. But there are also some servers which are still hardcore wherein you have to go through leveling and hunting of items for your character to become stronger.

It is a basically a PVP game. There's a field or map where all players from different gods kill each other to gain master points. I will be discussing more of it in my next #HiveGaming episodes. But for now, let me introduce the amazing and cool nine tribes of Tantra.

The Eight Tribes of Tantra Online MMORPG

THE DEVA TRIBE

Deva is a mage tribe that casts powerful spells. Magicians normally have strong damage but they have weak defense against the melee characters.

THE GARUDA TRIBE

Garuda is the female version of a Deva. They are both from the magician clan. They just have the same skills and attribute builds. Characters only differ from their chakra build ups. But I've noticed that garuda casts a bit slower than deva, that's just my observation but for some other players they think that there's no difference at all.

THE YAKSA TRIBE

Yaksa is a melee character. They are considered to be hunters in the the tantra world. They used claws to defeat monsters and their opponents. It has a stun skill and uses kick and punches and can make the opponent fall down just for a few seconds. Yaksa can also heal itself.

THE GANDHARVA TRIBE

The Gandharva is again the female version of Yaksa. The gandharvas are said to be located at the Alpine region of Mandara Highlands. As you can see, it seems to be the smallest character in Tantra however is one of the most skillful characters there is. It has pretty much the same character build ups and skills with Yaksa.

THE NAGA TRIBE

Naga is a melee type character and is considered to be the toughest character in Tantra. They are said to be fishermen by profession. Naga is usually the tank of this game. The naga tribe can be located at the Aegean Seas it is at the western part of Rameswaram. It uses either an AXE or a SWORD that can slay enemies in no time. It also uses hold and stun skills that prevent enemies nearby to attack its allies.

THE KIMNARA TRIBE

Like the other tribes, Kimnara is as well the female version of the Naga Tribe. Kimnara is the strongest female warrior in the game. It can also be a damager or a tank like Naga. It said that Kimnaras normally tranports and trade necessities in the village.

THE ASURA TRIBE

Asura tribe is situated in the northeast of Mandara Plateau. They are considered the hunters in the game. They hunt animals and other players from different gods. They are also the quickest characters in game and known to be silent killers because it has a hide skill and attacks you whenever they find a chance.

THE RAKSHASA TRIBE

If the Asura tribe is situated in the northeast of Mandara Plateau, the Rakshasas can be found at the northern peninsula near the Mandara Highlands. The skills are the same with the Asura tribe. I can say that Rakshasa is the most charming character in Tantra.

The tribes are all unique and strong in their own ways. Actually it only depends with the strategy of the player and the chakra build up. In order for you to make your character stronger you really have to hunt for good items and explore good chakra combinations. I wish I can tell you more of the history of the game maybe next time. There's still so much to tell but for now I'm just really happy to be able to share with you my favorite online game of all time. I have been playing this game for years since I was younger.
