Last time I spent an obscene amount of saved up polychromes in order to get Vivian and she didn't drop. This time I was only 11 away from hitting the guarantee ceiling so all it took was 1 more and I got Yixuan.
And Yixuan is such an upgrade! After not getting Vivian I was a little upset but then I did her Character Trial and found out she's not really the easiest to use. Far from Miyabi, Jane or Burnice, Vivian is more reminiscent of older Anomaly Characters that don't do too much damage until you get their unique Anomaly thing going. Yixuan is a brand new Rupture Character but who cares about that. What is more important for regular players will be that she's also an Ether Character just like Vivian but you can pretty much button mash with her. Everything she can do will be devastating to enemies. You hit her skill? Massive hit combo. You hold her skill and the enemy hits you? Massiver hit combo. You just do a bunch of regular attacks? Massive hit combo. You hit Dodge. Massive hits. She also has what amounts to two different ultimate attacks and both of them do devastating amounts of damage lol. She and Miyabi are like the noob player's dream and this noob right here has got them both now.
And then there's Pan Yinhu. He's fine. I'd say he's better than the previous bear we had but only because his thing is just finding an excuse to bring in your Rupture Character which right now is just Yixuan. So he starts out the battles, does his skill and then you get a free swap to Yixuan for you guessed it a massive hit combo. His ultimate also sets up a switch for her. Personally I'm wondering how good his Rupture buffs really are because I really want to use a team of Yixuan, Evelyn and Trigger. These three are just as action packed as Miyabi, Burnice and Jane who make up my current team. It'll be a while before I can use this Yixuan, Evelyn, Trigger team though. Of the three only Trigger is leveled up and not even built yet. And it'll be a while before I can get all the mats for Yixuan though I have gotten her to Lvl.10 already.

I have tried very little this kind of games, but seeing several gameplays like this one, I definitely feel that ZZZ is a fun experience, because its animations are nice and pleasant to watch, sometimes I get the impression that the gameplay can be complicated but it doesn't seem to stop being fun.
It is really fun. It just got updated to v2.0 which added a new type of mechanic. Not too difficult but it does give the combat an update. They also added a new character type with some interesting playstyle. It'll take some time to understand it but we only have one character of that type so far. She's very powerful so not understanding how to play her hasn't really been a problem yet haha
