Last week while I was looking for any interesting or curious videos to watch just so I could kill my boredom, I stumbled with one video that stood out from the others in my recommendation list and it was a gameplay of the game I want to talk about today; Your FREE BitBuddy (yes, that’s what the game is called actually, it’s not clickbait) a Tamagochi-inspired game in which you can have fun with your own little weird BitBuddy!.

In my case, I never got to play with a real Tamagochi and never got one in my hands, but that’s not to say that I don’t know what is it about, but to those who don’t know, a Tamagochi is a little game that is centered in you taking care of a little creature or animal, playing with it, feeding it and making sure all their needs are attended, but even though that Your FREE BitBuddy seems to be inspired by it, is not exactly a carbon copy of it.

So what do you need to do in Your FREE BitBuddy?, well that’s simple! You just have to use your FREE- (ok, maybe it’s time for me to stop repeating that, but hey, its in the tittle, not my fault) your BitBuddy to entertain yourself for a bit and then just quit and do something else, but that’s the beautiful and at the same time cruel trick about this game… if you quit the game your BitBuddy will die. Oh yes, it will die, as soon as you’re out your little and innocent Buddy will just die, and It knows that very well.

As soon as we start, we get to meet our Buddy and tell you that It will be there to entertain you as much at It can but if you quit the game their own end will come, so they ask you to NOT quit the game for their own sake.

So, having the life of a little weird thingy at the expense of your actions seems fun right?, no?, I mean, let me be frank with you, that’s pretty much the point of the game, weather their life is short or they get to live for more than half an hour is all on you and no one else, its for your own amusement and for you to “experiment” with, but even so, our first BitBuddy will always be a little bit more special and all the times they beg you to not quit the game will ring more in our hearts and our conscience… or not, you could perfectly start the game and as soon as the little weirdo starts talking you could quit, as easy as that haha.

If you go on with the idea of spending a little time with your Buddy, you are presented with a couple of options to interact with it. You can try giving it a snack, though it will not be in the mood to eat, but it doesn’t matter to us, let’s spam the “Food” button and see if it can eat a little bit, but hey, if you keep doing that the game will crash and your Buddy will die, its better if we just stop… or don’t, as I said, you can do what you want with your BitBuddy.

Aside from the food, your BitBuddy will try to humor you, by… playing to throw the ball and you have to catch it(?) that, I can not lie, is going to bore you more, if you ignore the balls a scenario like the one with the food could happen, at least that’s what I guess, abut never mind that, lets give it a little hat!.

After this (and a little scare for our anxiety-filled-buddy) we can go on a quest with it to fight monsters and level up, if you do it well maybe you will get your Buddy to a high level, who knows.

Throughout the whole thing the little dude will be scared for its life, but no matter what happens or what your decisions to do with it are, it knows that their life wont be long, and like that and after not having much more to do, your Buddy will invite you to take it to a fun (and, you know, probably last) holiday. For me, it was here where I decided to put my little friend Lanlo to rest, because it was the place were it was more at ease and also because it mentioned that that was the best place to do it… but also because I thought it was funny to just quit while it was talking thinking I wont end it there, I’m sorry I guess(?) Rest in Peace buddy.

Don’t worry and don’t be fooled, if you want your buddy to last more, you can. The game can last from just a couple of seconds to maybe a week, and its not an exaggeration, it is something you can do if you decide so, but you wont be able to do so much. Keep in my that if you quit and your buddy dies, you wont have the opportunity to have another buddy unless you get the payed version of the game, in the free one you can only have one buddy so give it a little love before ending their "misery".
The game is in fact a short one, nonetheless its only purpose its to humor you for a short time, but it still was quite curious and fun in its own “twisted” way. It’s also a pretty recent game having only come out the 4th of this month and it was made by Daniel Mullins (same creator of a game called Pony Island).

So tell me, will you go and get Your FREE!!! BitBuddy now or what?, don’t wait to much to expend some quality time with your own BitBuddy, you wont regret it!. This was a very short game and so I can only give it a short post but as short as it is, I hope you guys like it, this was my first post here in Hive Gaming so I will try to keep posting here as much as possible, and so, this is where I’m ending this post. La semana pasada, mientras buscaba algún vídeo interesante o curioso para ver y matar el aburrimiento, me topé con un vídeo que destacaba entre los demás de mi lista de recomendaciones y era un gameplay del juego del que quiero hablar hoy; Your FREE BitBuddy (sí, así se llama el juego en realidad, no es clickbait) un juego inspirado en Tamagochi en el que ¡puedes divertirte con tu propio pequeño extraño BitBuddy!.

En mi caso, nunca llegué a jugar con un Tamagochi de verdad y nunca tuve uno en mis manos, pero eso no quiere decir que no sepa de qué se trata, pero para los que no lo sepan, un Tamagochi es un pequeño juego que se centra en que cuides a una criaturita o animalito, jugando con él, alimentándolo y asegurándote de que todas sus necesidades sean atendidas, pero aunque Your FREE BitBuddy parece estar inspirado en él, no es exactamente una copia calcada del mismo.

Entonces, ¿Qué tienes que hacer en Your FREE BitBuddy?, ¡pues muy sencillo! Sólo tienes que usar tu FREE- (ok, tal vez es hora de que deje de repetir eso, pero hey, está en el título, no es mi culpa) tu BitBuddy para entretenerte un poco y luego simplemente dejarlo e ir a hacer otra cosa, pero ese es el hermoso y al mismo tiempo cruel truco de este juego... si dejas el juego tu BitBuddy morirá. Oh sí, morirá, en cuanto salgas y le des a "exit" tu pequeño e inocente Buddy simplemente morirá, y eso lo sabe lo sabe bien.

Nada más empezar, llegamos a conocer a nuestro Buddy que te dirá que estará ahí para entretenerte todo lo que pueda pero que si dejas el juego llegará su propio fin, por lo que te pide que NO dejes el juego por su propio bien.

Entonces, tener la vida de una criatura rara a costa de tus acciones parece divertido ¿verdad?, ¿no? Quiero decir, déjame ser franco contigo, ese es más o menos el punto del juego, si su vida es corta o llega a vivir por más de media hora es todo cosa tuya y de nadie más, es para tu propia diversión y para que "experimentes" con ello, pero aun así, nuestro primer BitBuddy siempre será un poco más especial y todas las veces que te ruega que no dejes el juego hará que sus palabras lleguen más a nuestro corazón y a nuestra conciencia... o no, podrías perfectamente iniciar el juego y en cuanto el pequeño empiece a hablar podrías dejarlo, tan fácil como eso haha.

Si sigues con la idea de pasar un rato con tu Buddy, se te presentan un par de opciones para interactuar con él. Puedes probar a darle un comida, aunque no tendrá ganas de comer, pero no nos importa, hagamos spam con el botón de "Comida" y veamos si puede comer un poco, pero oye, si sigues haciendo eso el juego crasheara y tu Buddy morirá, es mejor que lo dejemos... o no, como he dicho, puedes hacer lo que quieras con tu BitBuddy.

Aparte de la comida, tu BitBuddy intentará entretenerte, jugando a lanzar la pelota y tú tienes que atraparla(?) eso, no puedo mentir, te va a aburrir más, si ignoras las pelotas podría ocurrir un escenario como el de la comida, al menos eso supongo, pero no importa eso, ¡démosle un sombrerito!.

Después de esto (y de un pequeño susto para nuestro buddy lleno de ansiedad) podemos ir a tener un quest con él para luchar contra monstruos y subir de niveles, si lo haces bien quizás consigas que tu buddy llegue a un nivel alto, quién sabe.

Durante todo el proceso el pequeño temerá por su vida, pero no importa lo que pase o las decisiones que tomes con él, sabe que su vida no será larga, y así y después de no tener mucho más que hacer, tu buddy te invitará a llevarlo a unas divertidas (y, ya sabes, probablemente últimas) vacaciones. En mi caso, fue aquí donde decidí poner a descansar a mi pequeño amigo Lanlo, porque era el lugar donde se encontraba más a gusto y también porque mencionó que ese era el mejor lugar para hacerlo... pero también porque me pareció divertido salir del juego mientras este hablaba pensando que no lo mataría ahí, lo siento supongo(?) Descansa en Paz buddy.

No te preocupes mucho y sobre todo no te engañes, si quieres que tu compañero dure más, puedes hacerlo. El juego puede durar desde un par de segundos hasta quizás una semana, y no es una exageración, es algo que puedes hacer si así lo decides, pero no podrás hacer tanto en el juego después del evento de las vacaciones. Ten en cuenta que si lo dejas y tu buddy muere, no tendrás la oportunidad de tener otro buddy a menos que consigas la versión de pago del juego, en la gratuita sólo puedes tener un buddy así que dale un poco de cariño antes de acabar con su miseria.
El juego es, de hecho, un juego corto, no obstante su único propósito es entretenerte por un corto tiempo, pero aún así fue bastante curioso y divertido a su "retorcida" manera. También es un juego bastante reciente, ya que salió el 4to de este mes y fue hecho por Daniel Mullins (el mismo creador de un juego llamado Pony Island).

Así que dime, ¿vas a ir y conseguir Your FREE!!! BitBuddy ahora o qué?, no esperes mucho para pasar un tiempo de calidad con tu propio BitBuddy, ¡no te arrepentirás!.
