I Got Free Gamepass!

I'll admit I genuinely did not know that Microsoft had a rewards program, but now that I've found out I'll do as much of their little "missions" as possible. It's quite great when a company gives you free stuff for doing menial tasks.

Of course, this is just PC Game Pass which doesn't include EA Play, but it's great either way, specially now that I'm out of a job because of my health condition.

Of course the first game I downloaded was Like a Dragon: Gaiden. I planned on purchasing this for the PS4, but now that I got it for essentially "free" for a month, I'm really damn happy.

There are tons of great games that don't require EA Play for you to enjoy on Gamepass, and if you've been following me for a while you know how much of a sucker I am for Xbox, teehee.

  • Wait, Xbox Game Pass... ON PC?

Yes, I dropped Linux. After over 2 years of running Linux exclusively, I'm now back onto Windows, specifically for gaming. League, Fortnite and Roblox (which my lil brother plays) don't support Linux, so I didn't really have much of a choice here.

I'm running Windows 11 with CPU bypass because my CPU is old af. It's an i7 3770, but even though it is so old, I haven't really had any problems with the usability of the system, specially while gaming. It's been working great and I'm really quite happy with it.

I did... something to the PS4, which I'll post about soon enough. But basically, I now have a better GPU (if you know what I did, it's pretty obvious.)

It really sucks having to redownload almost all your games, but I did have some luck with WinBtrfs to retrieve some stuff from Linux and it's all working well, which is great. So I didn't lose my roms and some important save files.

But yeah.

TLDR: Pacheko learns that Microsoft rewards exist and gets a free month of Gamepass, and is quite happy about it.

This was short post but I've got more on the way. My creativity issues still remain but I'll try my best to contribute to this beautiful community, I love you all <3

Congrats, man. It is nice to be able to play so many games for paying nothing. Btw, what were those 'little' things/missions?

Microsoft Rewards page gives you little missions to do everyday which can net you a good amount of points.
