I invested a bit into a new Hive game coming that's been in the works for what feels like over a year now. That game called MuTerra!
MuTerra details are still something I have to figure out but I ended up buying 100 packs which includes 5 cards each. That's 500 total NFT cards I'll be getting that can be traded on Hive or on WAX much like we see with Splinterlands.
I decided today I would open up a single pack and see what I got.
Take note this is how you read the cards as I was a bit stuck on it myself for a while.
Here's what I ended up getting from my pack opening.
That far right card is actully a gold foil! But not any gold foil it's also a uncommon card.
If I'm reading this all correctly and I believe I am this was a pretty decent opening. My Legendary or Mythical but still some solid cards. I'll go over each in detail below.

I'm curious when the game is going to launch and be playable. I have a feeling it should be pretty soon some time in Q2 I expect it but it's for sure a unknown.
I'm loving the artwork on the cards but a little from what I've seen of the game turns me off a bit honest opinion. That's because it's not really my vibe style but it is up there with the amount of playability it does have. The graphics on this thing makes me think of stardew valley or a game like it. That's not really a bad thing because that games crazy popular so maybe this will fit right in with that large community.
It provides a different experience compared to something like Splinterlands which is just card collecting. Right now Splinterlands is pretty straight forward but I believe it could benefit from some interaction in battles which should be coming with land.
I would have to say though MuTerra does look to be shaping up to what could be a rather popular game on the Hive blockchain and that's something I'm all for supporting!
At first I read Runaterra, then I realized that it is MuTerra. At first sight, this game looks like a mix of Splinterlands and Runaterra. I think that if it has a reward distribution similar to (or better) what Splinterlands had in the past (mainly in 2019), then probably this game has a bright future.
Good luck and have fun.
Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.
Nice, I still haven't picked any of these up, I am waiting to see how it all works out as I am tired of idle games and hope to see more with at least gameplay like splinterlands
