Congrats on your purchase! I bought a PS5 for sort of the same reason! I play games with my cousin and he upgraded to a PS5 so to stop issues like yours happening I decided to buy one!

in the end I think it will save me money because I enjoy staying at home gaming with my brother or close friends over going out and spending money on partying anyway.
