Ahhh, you kind of left out an important part and that is that there's a high chance he wasn't actually responsible for hacking into the servers. In fact this and the previous hack you mention are believed to have been done by other people and that TeaPot was just used as the "fallguy" so to speak.
Some information came to light with a conversation from a person who "worked" with TeaPot who said that he only knew the very basics of hacking.
