Last time we investigated an entity who lives in a chimney. It turned out to be just a dicemaker. We also had a dream in which we saw ourselves as a hanged man.
In this part we started a second in game day. We met with officer Kim again. He said that we should speak with a group of vigilantes/ armed group of the Union called the Hardie Boys. They are apparently very dangerous so we need to be careful with what we say. After that we talked with an old lady. Her husband is gone missing so maybe we will find him in the future. Then we went to the book store and told the owner that we defeated the “curse” that was destroying her business.
Then we went to a Kim's car and used lights to read our documents. They revealed a bit of our history- we were police officer for many years and during that time we solved more than two hundred cases...so perhaps we WERE a super cop after all. Also during our service we killed a three people.
After that we met with another supreme racist. He was blocking our passage to the harbour. He also had entire races tier list. We were not able to get past this monster of a man. Maybe we will succeed in the future...
After that we tried talking with Titus Hardie and his gang. They claimed that they were the ones who killed the murder victim. The problem was that were way too many of the gang members and we could not do anything to them.
Then we went investigate the victim's body again. This time we passed a required check so we were able to inspect the body without throwing up. The victim's body was almost entirely naked. But it had some weird boots that looked like part of some fancy armor suit. Kim took a photo of the body. Then we tried to shoot it down from the tree. To the great joy of Cuno we missed.
After that Cuno told us that a man called Manana may know more about those armor suit. We went to question this man but it turned out that Cuno was lying. After that we went back and made a huge discovery. Cuno was just a pawn. Scared little junkie kid who tried to hide behind a cover of tough act, slurs and insults. In truth the girl who was called Cunoesse was a bigger evil manipulating Cuno like a puppet. Cuno was scared of both his dad and Cunoesse. He claimed that Cunosse was really insane and dangerous. And that she had likely killed someone in the past...

Inspecting the body properly for the first time was a memorable moment. The armor boots feel like a key detail, and missing the shot to bring the body down fits this tragicomic detective.
Yes I agree. If we would have shot the body down that would seem like our character is too lucky.
