Introduce. New job and new project

Hello everyone👋 My name is Dmytro.

A little over a month ago, I changed jobs and no longer work at Ocean Planet. Therefore, this blog will be about new projects I'll be working on in the future

I was lucky and was hired in a company not related to game development and with a good salary. Therefore, now I am actively studying new technologies for myself: nest js, nx, angular. In addition, I am very lucky to work in a team with experienced specialists, from whom I learn and improve my code. Now I appreciate it very much, because during those two years at Ocean Planet, I did not have "Quality control" so to speak. All the way from a student, with minimal basic knowledge, to now, I went by myself. I studied from YouTube videos and various articles. And there were no people who would review my code.

Now a lot has changed, I understood the importance of code quality, architecture and patterns. I can't say that I didn't understand this before, but I couldn't put it into practice and was a hostage to my own bad code that I wrote during the first six months of working on Ocean Planet.

So what is this blog about? With the new job, no matter how strange it is, I have much more free time. I want to devote this free time to game development.
What kind of game will it be? I do not know yet. Will it be something related to the blockchain? I don't know this either.

The essence of this game as a project will be that we will implement various interesting mechanics, combine them and try to make it as interesting as possible.
That's what this blog is about. The reader can not only immerse himself in the development and learn more about what is happening "under the hood" in games, but also take part in the creation by broadcasting his thoughts and ideas about this project in the comments.

In the next post, we will start development, break down the idea and start developing the basic mechanics.
