Greetings fellow players of the Hive Blockchain Community! Hope you're having a great day today.
Before the upcoming End of Season, I would like to share my daily quest that I completed earlier after playing Splinterlads. The quest for this challenge is the No Neutral Quest.
As we all know, neutral cards are non-attribute cards that can be added to any lineup, regardless of attributes. It compliments with your own strategy, playing the strength of the attribute lineup you are going to choose that leads to you winning battles.
Here are the battles that completed the daily quest:
FIRST BATTLE
Rulesets
- Aim True: Melee and Ranged attacks always hit their target.
- Lost Legendaries: Legendary monsters may not be used in battles.
- Within 50 mana capacity in the Fire, Light, or Dragon attribute.
For this battle, I choose Yodin Zaku as a summoner for its ability to give additional range damage, health, and blast ability to its allies. Living Lava serving as tank with its shield, reducing the damages it gets while giving damage thanks to the thorns ability. Molten Ash Golem, one of the latest cards from the Chaos Legion packs is in second position to serve as a reserve tank thanks to the close range ability while reducing the health and melee damage of the enemy line up. Goblin Shaman to reduce the health and speed of the enemy lineup. Ferexia General for the additional melee damage to allies. Ettin Spearman as a backline defense due to its high health.
The enemy also choose Yodin Zaku as a summoner, the difference is that the enemy focused more on the melee and magic damage which were countered by my chosen cards that leads to my win in the end.
SECOND BATTLE
Rulesets
- Silenced Summoners: Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
- Within the 24 mana capacity in the Fire, Light, Dark, or Dragon attribute.
I decided to choose Daria Dragonscale instead of Tarsa as summoner due to the mana point difference. Serpentine Soldier as tank because based on my experience using the card, it has a higher chance of evading the enemies attacks. Goblin Shaman to reduce the speed and health of the enemy line up. Lord of Fire to give additional health to allies while reducing the magic damage of the enemy. Ferexia General for additional melee damage. Flame Monkey for additional speed and shield repair abilities. Fire Beetle as a backline defense.
THIRD BATTLE
Rulesets
- Fog of War: Monsters loose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.
- Keep Your Distance: Monsters with melee attack may not be used in battles.
- Within the 25 mana capacity in Fire, Light, Water, Earth, or Dragon attribute
For the last battle, I choose Yodin Zaku as a summoner. Venari Heatsmith because I'm taking a gamble in my part of not choosing a melee monster as a tank so that I could use the extra mana to choose the next best tank which is the Molten Ash Golem reducing the health and melee damage of the enemy monsters. Goblin Shaman to reduce the health and speed. Lord of Fire for additional health and magic damage reduction. Fire Beetle as the backline defense.
The good thing in this battle is the enemy decided to choose mostly magic type monsters which triggers the ability of the Lord of Fire to reduce the magic damage. Also, with the void armor ability of the Venari Heatsmith, the magic attacks it will receive will damage the shield first before its health, leading for the Heatsmith to last longer in the battle.
It took me about 16 battles to complete the quest because most of my used cards are neutral attribute cards because it can be accessed in any attribute lineup rules aside from the no neutral ruleset. It gives balance and serves as a good assortment that make my deck and chosen line up stronger and win in battles.
After completing the quest, I claimed the rewards and the game gave me 8 cards which consists of 1 epic and 7 commons, 14 DEC, and 4 potions. Overall, that is a good reward because the cards could be used in battles, and the potions can help in the card pack openings.
That is all for me today. Hope you learn something in one of my battles and apply it in one of your battles in the game, and with the upcoming end of season, may we have a satisfying rewards.
