Ghost of Tsushima is a game where story, action, and emotion are all in one place. In the previous mission, Jin Sakai experienced his first significant life change: the clear contrast between the morality of war and its harsh reality. This time, his path is harder, darker, and more mysterious.
The game starts very quietly. Jin Sakai suddenly sees a fox. Foxes in Ghost of Tsushima aren't just cute creatures, they lead you to the Inari Shrine, where you can unlock a new Charm Slot.
Is Charm Slot really important???
In the game, Charms are small passive abilities that make Jin's combat, stealth, and defense stronger.
Charm Slot = more ability combinations = more powerful.
For players who play on Legend difficulty, the Charm Slot is a real game-changer. So whenever you see a fox, follow and complete the prayer at the Jin shrine and unlock the new Charm Slot.
After I completed the shrine, he saw two groups of Bandits fighting among themselves. I jumped into the fight without hesitation to increase my Legend points. Jin is now much more experienced. His swings of the sword are powerful, his dodges are perfect. This battle made it clear that Jin is no longer the naive samurai from Komoda Beach.
->The Tale of Sensei Ishikawa’ – The Beginning of a Story of Betrayal.<-
Jin then decides to start Sensei Ishikawa's story, which is one of the most important parts of the main Ghost path.
On the way to Sensei's dojo, Jin finds a Survivor Camp.
Here you'll find:
Merchant → New clothes, armor dye
Trapper → Arrows, ammo, resources
These two NPCs are very important.
->Hiyoshi Springs – A Shadow of Deceit Amidst Peace<-
In Hiyoshi Spring, Jin reaches Ishikawa's dojo with the help of a servant.
But upon reaching the dojo, he sees,
- Blood on the ground
- Clear signs of war
Where is Sensei? Who was the war about?
Jin gets the answer to this question by going to Sensei's room. There, Ishikawa tells him, the Mongols have captured his student Tomoye
Tomoye is one of Tsushima's best archers. But the real twist of this story is yet to come…
->Fort Nakayama – Strategy, & Master’s Gift<-
Jin and Sensei arrive at Fort Nakayama. Here we see:
- Mongol swordsman
- Spearman
- Archer
- High-ground watchpoints
Sensei says, You can't force your way in. So the plan:
- When the gate opens in the morning, some Mongols will come out
- An arrow shot from above the explosive barrels
- Kill the enemies outside, then attack inside
Classic samurai-archer combo, and the plan works great.
Before the Fort, Sensei gives Jin the Half Bow. This is Jin's first real ranged weapon, and it makes the gameplay more tactical.
After searching the Fort, they find:
- A separate room for Tomoe
- Her bow
- Notes written in Mongolian with archery techniques translated
Seeing this, Ishikawa realizes:
Tomoe has joined hands with the Mongols. She is now a traitor.

At the end of the mission, Jin's Legend rank increases and unlocks:
Kunai (Ghost Weapon)
- Can be thrown quickly
- Enemies stagger/freeze
- Perfect for multi–enemy combat
I also use legend points to unlock Chain Assassination, which takes stealth gameplay to a new level.

While liberating another Mongol Territory on the way, First, I observe the Captain to get an extra stance point and then kill him for another stance point.
This is how it was unlocked: Water Stance, which is most effective against Shieldman. Ghost of Tsushima's stance system is truly unique. Each stance is designed against a specific enemy.

Mongols were attacking some innocent people on the bridge. Chain Assassination just unlocked. How could I not take the opportunity? Jump assassination from above and the chain kill. The rest of the Mongols were finished before they could get scared. Although it's a short mission, it gives a real taste of Ghost.

Later, I headed towards Adachi Estate. Here, it became clear that a terrible attack had been made on the Adachi clan. The people of the house were murdered. After a long search, I found Lady Masako. Masako says her entire family was killed by traitors. She can't think of anything but revenge now
Masako is certain that one of the monks of the Golden Temple is involved with the traitors. She investigated with the help of Jin and discovered that a monk named Sogan is connected. They followed him to their hideout and killed every one of them.

Jin Sakai is no longer the traditional samurai in this entire journey and Looking at these missions, it is clear:
- Jin's Morale is increasing
- Betrayal is now the main theme of the story
- Variety is coming to gameplay
Thus, Jin Sakai's journey becomes more complex. With Tomoe's betrayal and the brutal murder of Lady Masako's family, Tsushima is no longer just a battlefield, but a story of revenge and survival.
