Hello Hive Gaming community, nice to be here again. Today I wanted to share with you one of the best gaming experiences my friends and I have ever experienced participating in the Legion Gaming League of Legends tournament. Since playing in high leagues I have participated in several fairly important LoL tournaments, but this was certainly the most special as it was my first face-to-face participation.

On August 7, 2022 the Gaming Zone: @Legion Arena organized this League of Legends event located in our town, although the registrations were at the national level and without limits or minimums of rank in qualifiers.

We encouraged ourselves to participate and immediately formed our team called "36592", we started playing flexible games a month in advance to practice our best champions and stronger compositions. Our lineup was:

• Top: Dóge (2528165619941312) 🤓
• Jungler: Coqueto
• Mid: Samuelon
• ADC: Virterex
• Support: Kenzoz

And why did I choose numbers-only names? I don’t know hahaha, it has no meaning, it just occurred to us at the time, we all agreed and so it remained, sometimes I have little imagination.

The day of the event arrived, we woke up very early without almost sleeping any of the excitement and anxiety of being there and playing. We planned the rendezvous point at Samuel’s house to reach Legion together as he lives very close to the place.

image.png
Unfortunately Kenzoz and Virterex could not be there because at that time they were far away in another part of the country, but they were always attentive connected online and communicating by Discord with us. We prepared well and at 10am we headed to Legion Arena with high expectations.

image.png

Upon arrival we were welcomed with energy drinks by the sponsors of the event, there were numerous companies supporting this event such as internet service, cafeteria, fast food, among others.

image.png

The games would start around 3pm, as we arrived so early we sat down to wait quietly while we enjoyed the place, talking with people and other participants of the event, the more time passed more people came to watch the games.

image.png
While it was time for the games Samuel and Coqueto played fights for a while at Super Smash Bros while I explored the whole place and took pictures of the sponsors of the event.

image.png

@hopu.store sold in the local very pretty anime-themed shirts at a good price.

7.jpg

This pleasant café stall called @kazokucafe.ve with manga theme, where they sold excellent coffee accompanied by sweets of all kinds.

image.png

There were also @Hive staff inviting us to participate in the platform and giving information about everything Hive was about and they also gave us some stickers of the Hive logo that I don’t remember where I kept them.

9.jpg

We were part of the second meeting, so we had to wait and watch the first game.

image.png

Unfortunately I do not have the recordings of our games and those played, the event was broadcast by Twitch and the broadcasts are automatically deleted after 14 days.

It was time for our first meeting, we were all very anxious and on edge, especially Kenzos who could not stop going to the bathroom hahaha.

image.png

The gaming experience for me was amazing, the pc's were very good, but what stood out most were the 240hz monitors, I had never played at that frequency rate since I always play at 75hz provided by my pc monitor, the difference is brutal, The fluid that these screens provide make competitive gameplay faster and more accurate, I would certainly say that this is one of the most indispensable components for a player who wants to reach the top.

Our games were very good, we played like never before since the five of us had prepared enough for this, although I only have a small recording of the 3rd game.

image.png

It was quickly dark and with three wins we got into the final of the tournament. We were very tired and hungry, we spent the whole day there and the supplies we took did not reach us for all that day and none of us slept well the night before haha.

image.png

It was already 10:30pm and finally we played the final of the tournament, all the members of the opposing team played that game from a distance as they were from another state of the country so we were the last ones left in the arena. Sadly we could not win the last game as the rival team was a more professional team with more experience and we were totally exhausted.

image.png

We were defeated, but we were still very happy with what we all did that day, plus one of the sponsors of the official @lanonlineoficial us. For team 36592 for their effort with a recognition and a free subscription for their fiber optic internet service.

image.png

After that we left Legion Arena very victorious with our heads up and so hungry that we stopped at the nearest pizza shop.

image.png

Without a doubt, this was one of the best occasions in which I have had a good time playing the League of Legends with my friends and that I will never forget, in that season of 2022 I did not only reach Grandmaster in competitive games.

_n.gif

I also made the top 1 in the world 🌎 ranking playing Sion🥇.

Wow, man, that was an incredible adventure. Tournament experiences are the most exciting thing you can experience in League of Legends. I've participated a couple times myself, but I don't have any trophies XD By the way, are the rankings from last year? Because I just looked at the LAN server Sion first place and your nickname wasn't there.

And a useful tip, if you want to have more friends and want to get more support you need to support people on Hive, you can do it with engaging. You can commment to other gamers and players and that will make them visit your posts.

Hey @incublus. Yes, all images in this post are from last year. That was the highest rank I reached before the end of season 12, it’s all my SoloQ and Flex qualifiers. With both Winrate and KDA positive I could reach rank 1 with that champion 😄.

Second place wow! That's a solid effort, congratulations.
I hope you had a great time, from your post it sounds like you did.
It is great to see that someone from our Hive was there raising awareness for Hive.
All the best for your next tournament, You never know you may get first next time. Keep fighting hard.
Have a great day!

Hello friend, thank you very much for your comment. It was one of the best experiences I lived last year. Hopefully another similar occasion will be presented, my friends and I will be attentive to participate.
