Hi there. Another Pokemon TCG post by me. The Pokemon Japan main set cards for the Nullifying Zero set has been revealed. Pokebeach had this set named as Nihil Zero but I guess it is called Nullifying Zero. The English cards from this Japanese set appear in March 2026 Perfect Order set featuring Mega Zygarde ex.

I have covered some of the cards in previous post. In this post I cover some of the newer cards. The full list can be found here.
Illustration Rare Of Clefairy, Espurr & Talonflame
Some of the new illustration rare art cards include Clefairy, Espurr and Talonflame. The Clefairy is very nice. Majestic, cute and colourful.

Spinarak & Ariados

I don't see Spinarak and Ariados being played too much but their retreat locking attacks can be super annoying for the opponent.
Ariados being able to do Poison, 50 damage and retreat locking is kinda powerful.
Shaymin

Here is a new version of Shaymin. This one has 70 HP and a zero retreat cost. Both attacks require one Grass energy where the second attack does 30 damage. Flower Delivery as the first attack provides Energy acceleration from Deck to 1 of your Benched Grass Pokemon. The translation does not specify Basic Energy so I guess Special Energy cards from deck works.
Snivy, Servine and Serperior

Here is the Serperior evolution line. Snivy and Servine are okay attackers as you work your way to Serperior.
Serperior's Royal Command attack for 1 Grass Energy deals 20 damage for each Pokemon you have in play. The Solar Winder attack does 100 base damage from 3 Grass Energy. If Rosa's Encouragement is in the discard pile then this attack does 250 damage.
Rosa's Encouragement

This Rosa's Encouragement Supporter card is one of those comeback cards if you have more Prize cards than your opponent (The opponent has taken more Prize cards than you.). Attach up to 2 Basic Energy cards from your discard pile to 1 of your Stage 2 Pokemon.
Decks that use Stage 2 Pokemon may want 1 or 2 copies of Rosa's Encouragement in their deck to fulfill attack costs.
Turtonator

As an attacker, Turtonator does not seem great. The ability is kind of annoying for the opponent when this Turtonator is in the Active Spot and takes damage from an attack. Then you discard 1 Energy from the attacking Pokemon.
I can kind of see this being used in wall/control decks. There are some people that like hyper defensive, slow and passive wall decks. (Me? I don't like them. Games take too long with this type of playstyle.)
Clefairy & Mega Clefable ex

Clefairy is not a great attacker but it is needed for Clefable or Mega Clefable ex.
Mega Clefable ex is a Stage 1 Mega Pokemon ex. This has a 1 retreat cost, Metal Weakness and 320 HP.
The Wings of Light ability prevents all effects of opponent's Abilities done to this Pokemon. This prevents abilities like Flutter Mane's ability. I don't know if Mega Clefable ex can attack through walls like Crustle and Cornerstone Ogerpon ex.
Shooting Moon requires 2 Psychic Energy for its attack. It does 120 damage with the option to deal more damage. You may discard up to 4 Energy Cards from your hand. For each Energy card discard you deal 40 more damage. This attack is worse than Gholdengo ex. It does seem that they are making the next format have less firepower.
Spritzee & Aromatisse

Spritzee is not a great attacker but it is need to evolve into Aromatisse.
Aromatisse as an attacker is not great but the ability makes Aromatisse a decent support Pokemon. Once during your turn you may use the Fragrance Collection ability to search your deck for up 2 Basic Psychic Energy and put them into your hand.
In theory, Aromatisse is a support Pokemon for Mega Clefable ex. Time will tell if this is good in practice.
Hawlucha

This Hawlucha is kind of interesting. There is a zero retreat cost on this with a potentially powerful attack.
For 1 Fighting Energy the Revenge Kick attack deals 30 base damage. If your Benched Pokemon have any damage counters on them, this Revenge Kick attack does 60 more damage.
As this Hawlucha is a Fighting type, you can use Premium Power Pro for more damage. Hawlucha in theory can one hit knockout one of the most common support Pokemon in Fezandipiti ex.
I can see Hawlucha being a 1 copy inclusion in the future in Mega Lucario ex decks and maybe in Cynthia's Garchomp ex decks.
Yveltal ex

As the Legends Z-A videogame has its setting in the Kalos Region, it makes sense to have Mega Zygarde, Yveltal and Xernea cards soon.
Yveltal ex has 210 HP, a one retreat cost, Fighting resistance and Lightning weakness.
Both of the attacks require 2 Dark Energy and 1 Colourless Energy. The first attack of Death Soul lets you automatically Knock Out each of the opponent's Pokemon with 50 HP or less remaining. In theory, you can win with this attack but I think it would be hard to pull off. One of the most popular weak Pokemon is Budew from Dragapult ex decks and sometimes seen in Marnie's Grimmsnarl ex decks.
The second attack of Dark Strike deals 210 damage with the drawback that you can't use this attack again during your next turn.
Klefki

Klefki could be a useful 1 copy inclusion in Metal decks. Memory Lock for 1 Metal Energy deals 30 damage and you can disable 1 attack on the opponent's Active Pokemon for the opponent's next turn. You can possibly slow down opponents with a disable type of an attack.
The last Pokemon seen that had a disable type of attack was this Ralts from the Silver Tempest set.
Energy Swatter Item Card

Energy Swatter is an Item card that lets you see the opponent's hand. Then you choose an Energy card you find there and put it at the bottom of the deck. One good case scenario is to move a Neo Upper Energy from a Dragapult ex opponent to the bottom of the deck.
There used to be Grabber in the format but no used it much. I don't see Energy Swatter being used much except for some control decks.
Lumiose Galette

Lumoise Galette is from the video game Legends: Z-A. This item card lets you heal 20 damage which is not much. The more important effect that can be useful in some rare cases is removing a Special Condition like Asleep, Paralysis, Poison and Confusion.
Deck space is tight and there are more useful cards than this. I don't know if this will see much play.
Jacinthe

Jacinthe is a powerful healing Supporter card for Psychic Pokemon. You heal 150 damage from a Psychic Pokemon. Other powerful healing cards in the format include Wally's Compassion for Mega Pokemon and the not so popular Poke Vital A ACE SPEC card.
Telepath Psychic Energy

This special Energy card is pretty powerful. Telepath Psychic Energy provides 1 Psychic Energy. When you attach this Energy card to a Psychic Pokemon you have the option to search your deck for 2 Basic Psychic and put them onto your Bench. (Then shuffle your deck.)
This card can be used as an additional Pokemon search on top of Ultra Ball and PokePad.
