Ouch!! Take a look! When I woke up this morning and turned on my dCity ...
What happened to my SIM income!? It's decreased from around 1500 SIMs to current 800 SIMs!
Doesn't look like mob since it can only take away like 150 SIMs ...
Then I realized that our currently default President @gerber has raised the taxes! Is he a tyran? I guess not, after all, he is the creator of this fun game. I think he is trying to educate dCity players to pay attention to President election (in the future, with SIM holding as voting weight) and the power to raise taxes of all kinds associated with this position ...
Indeed we learn, through pains of depriving incomes... lol
Check it out: Basic tax is 20%!!
Where does the tax go? Here is the explantion:
Basic tax - just basic tax 20%
Basic tax from 1-20%. The President can use it to reduce SIM inflation.
Well, yes, it's kind of burned into ashes so the circulation of SIM is reduced. Theoretically good for everyone I guess.
But I am happy to find out that I have additional source of income that can reduce the impact of this tax raise - war tax is 10%!!
See where does this tax go ...
War tax - funding war 10%
When The President declares war, players pay a 10% tax and 80% of that goes to the Military Industrial Complex (one of the new upcoming buildings) owners.
Since I have three Military Industrial Complex, I get to enjoy the bonus associated with these cards. Maybe much less than Tony Stark's, but still a great amount for me! ^_^
Government and the Taxes add a lot of variation and fun into the game, and we'll keep learning how they will impact our long journey of city building ...
wow, i also see my income decrease by half , and i have zero military industrial complex =(
they are good only at this moment... becoz they decrease your popularity...
I'm getting poorer too :(
when everyone does, you can't be. XD
Let's riot!!!!!!!!!!
Let him hear the people sing ... Lol
The taxes imposed by President @gerber seem to me to be extremely unfairly distributed, since even beginners (low earners) are taxed the same as better earners. This is not motivating especially for beginners and must be changed immediately.
It reminds me of Prince John (Robin Hood) and we all know what ended up happening to him.
I think he'll remove the high rate soon..
taxation is theft lmao but I wonder, where can I play this game?

:) just 2 days, so people can learn how it works before first elections :)
Aye aye, Mr. President!! ^_^
