This week Boss Fighters is holding a special event, challenging Fighters to defeat eight special VR Boss players, including the CEO of Boss Fighters!
Included in this event are special rewards to be shared by the Bosses and Fighters. Each Boss will have their own reward pool that increase with each match played (up to 30 matches max). Shares of those reward pools are distributed to Bosses and the Fighters who faced them based on who won the matches. The maximum reward pool for each Boss can go as high as 70,000 FLEX (used for crafting and charging Badges and for locking Perks during an item merge), 2,000 Variators (used to roll new Perks when merging items), and 250,000 Cash (used for merging items). FLEX is also a premium currency and can be sold through Open Loot.
The contest has already begun, with the first challenge Boss player available until 11am CST today. Here is the rest of the schedule (all times in CST). The CEO, VadCrypto, could potentially be online during any of these time slots.

What is Boss Fighters?
Boss Fighters is an arena combat game with two unequal teams. On one side stands the Boss, a giant mech with tentacles for moving and grabbing, lasers for burning, poison gas, and other weapons of destruction. On the other side stands a team of up to four Fighters, humans armed with their own weapons and gadgets. The Fighters must kill the Boss before time runs out, or each Fighter loses five lives. Playing as a Fighter is PC only, but Bosses can also play with a VR headset. Bosses can destroy parts of the arena, as well as pick up some scenery items and throw them or use them to bash Fighters (you haven't lived until you've been beaten to death with a giant hot dog!)
At the end of the match, all participants receive a random assortment of items and in-game currency. If you have a Badge equipped, you can also earn BFT tokens.
Boss Fighters is free to play. No NFTs or web3 wallet required! Though still in an alpha stage, everything you earn in Boss Fighters is persistent.
Boss Fighters supports NFTs for all items and skins within the game. Skins are sold or given away by the team, while game items, such as weapons and gadgets, are minted into NFTs by the players. Many items come with Perks, special bonuses to in-game stats such as health, ammo clip size, etc, and NFT items also have Value perks, bonuses to BFT token gathering.
Boss Fighters connects with Open Loot, so players don’t even need a web3 wallet to buy and sell digital collectibles for Boss Fighters. Visit the Open Loot marketplace to see what's available.
