I was pretty excited to read this announcement! Unfortunately, I first planted all my seeds for the season and then I went to check my quests... which meant that none of my planting counted to complete the quests. Very frustrating since I had many/most of what I needed for the "plant x seed" quests.
Then, I decided that I really wanted to get some of these quests done, so I went and purchased an additional seeds and lands. I have 3 quests with "Plant a Cabbage Seed", one of which is 2 seeds, the other asks for 5 seeds, and then 1 seed. After planting 2 seeds, yay one quest is completed! But I was surprised to see that none of the others completed at the same time... which means I'd have had to purchase 8 new seeds, and 8 new lands! I already spent all my Hive, and only had 2 unplanted seeds and 2 lands. So I figured, might as well plant them, I'll at least have the "Plant 1 seed" quest also completed... But no, for some reason only the "Plant 5 seeds" quest updated, to 2/5, and the other quest stayed at 0/1. This is so incredibly frustrating, because now I have an incomplete quest that I cannot finish, and if I re-roll it, I'll have lost my progress, not to mention my Crop tokens. All for quests which should have been completed already, considering that I planted 6 Cabbage crops at the start of the season.
I sincerely hope that how the rules for completing quests will be revised going forwards, as right now there's not much point for casual players like me, who will never be able to get 10 full quests completed by end of season.
