Breath Of Fire IV (4) is a capcom game yea I forgot capcom used to make games like this. It is a playstation 1 game.
If you want the enchanced version play the PC version from GOG.com with improvements for modern systems, including Windows 10 and 11 support, better graphics rendering, and a reworked audio engine. Even the colors looks amazing on the PC version.

Ok the story of this game is quite amazing. so your character Ryu is basically a God of what they call the Endless and he is half God because for some reason the summoning split him in half the other half is Fou-Lu he was the first emperor of Fou empire. If Ryu and Fou-Lu merge he is Yorae a complete dragon God.
To simplify the story after Fou-lu unite the empire and he took a long nap until Ryu is born so he can merge with Ryu and be a complete god the Fou empire betrayed Fou-lu by attacking him the moment he woke up because they want to stay in power kinda doesnt make sense because Fou-Lu just want their loyalty thats all but nooooo they want to attack him while he is still weak.
But when you use him he is crazy strong.

So the ending is Fou-Lu hate the humans due to their betrayal and they always cause war but he did met 2 people who help him recover with each battle he suffered but his conclusion human race needs to be wiped out. He basically one man army killed every Fou generals and all its army and took back his throne.
Ryu finally came and met him with his crew of friends Fou-lu can read Ryu mind and Ryu can read Fou-lu mind because they are the same person but different experiences. there is 2 ending the good ending is where you convince Fou to see the good in humanity and when you merge Ryu is there and Ryu said Fou told him that humans does not need Gods or the Endless to help them run the world so Ryu sent every single Endless to their own realm this god realm we never see which is a mystery I like it they make this endless world a mystery so you can imagine yourself a world where gods live.
the bad ending is you didnt convince Fou-Lu and merge with him instead Fou is in control of the body and start attacking your friends after you kill your own friends he start destroying the world.
so thats it remember use the gamefaqs thats what the old folk like me used when the internet first came out haha. before that was even worse we had to walk to our friends houses and ask how to do this and that no phones no whatsapp just run to your friends house and exchange information thats how crazy it is. when Gamefaqs came out was a real life saver until today im sure there is youtube videos for walkthrough for this game but i rather read whichever you want have fun playing see you all again soon gonna play my Final Fantasy Tactics the OG game not the enchance ones hehe.
