Good morning to everyone at Hive, and to the readers of Hive Gaming. Today I wanted to start as a series of gameplays that I could say are classic and in some cases retro, my idea was to make articles about a different classic or old game every week and give my general opinion about it, its gameplay, commenting a little about my sessions inside the game and the things that in my opinion are the most fun, since that's what gameplay is all about. To entertain you and share a bit about the games I frequent giving you my point of view, without more to add here I start. ;)

Muy buenas para todos en Hive, y para los lectores de Hive Gaming. El día de hoy quise empezar como una serie de gameplays que podría decir que son clásicos y en algunos casos retro, mi idea era hacer artículos sobre un juego clásico o viejo diferente cada semana y dar mi opinión general sobre ello, su jugabilidad, comentando un poco sobre mis sesiones dentro del juego y las cosas que a mi parecer son las más divertidas, ya que de eso se trata el gameplay. Entretenerlos y compartir un poco sobre los juegos que frecuento dándoles a conocer mi punto de vista, sin más que agregar aquí empiezo. ;)

Starting with the fact that the console I will use this time is my beloved and spoiled old playstation 3, which I don't use so much nowadays due to time issues but from time to time I dust it off for when friends get together. It should be noted that I wanted to start this series of video games with this title especially because I consider it the best of this generation of consoles.

Empezando por el hecho que la consola que utilizaré en está ocasión es mi queridísima y consentida viejita playstation 3, la cual no le doy tanto uso actualmente por cuestiones de tiempo pero que de vez en cuando la desempolvo para cuando se juntan los amigos. Cabe destacar que quise empezar esta serie de video juegos con este título en especial porque lo considero el mejor de esta generación de consolas.

I didn't remember that the game looked so good, I really had a long time without seeing it from a playstation 3. Another thing to tell you and that I guess you have already noticed is that I don't use a capturer so it's difficult for me to record a commentary video or something like that, so my sister helps me while I tell her about the game, taking pictures at some moments.

No recordaba que el juego se viera tan bien de verdad tenía mucho tiempo sin verlo desde un playstation 3. Otra cosa para acotarles y que me imagino que ya se habrán dado cuenta es que no ocupo capturadora entonces se me complica grabarles un video comentado o algo así, de manera que mi hermana me ayuda mientras le comento a ella sobre el juego, tomándole fotos en algunos momentos.

After getting used to the controls and shooting a few horses I head towards the armadillo police station (one of the main towns in the game, in fact it's the first town after beating the first few missions on the McFarlane's ranch) where a mission from Sheriff Marshall awaits me. Apparently they have kidnapped Bonnie McFarlane and the bandits have asked that in exchange for her life they want us to free a criminal that I imagine that previously at some point in the previous missions we caught called Norman Deek, but that I really don't remember since I started this new game some time ago and I thought when I started playing that he was going to be later in the story.

Después de acostumbrarme a los controles y dispararle a unos cuantos caballos me dirijo hacia la comisaria de armadillo (una de los pueblos principales del juego, de hecho es el primer pueblo luego de superar las primeras misiones del rancho de los McFarlane) donde me espera una misión del Sheriff Marshall. Aparentemente han secuestrado a Bonnie McFarlane y los bandidos han pedido que a cambio de su vida quieren que liberemos a un delincuente que me imagino que previamente en algún punto de las misiones anteriores atrapamos llamado Norman Deek, pero que de verdad no me acuerdo ya que empecé esta nueva partida hace tiempo y pensé al empezar a jugar que iba a estar más adelante en la historia.

Okay this picture is horrible, but it was during the mission since it was a long way riding and it made me feel full nostalgic the fact of the field and the setting that I have to say, I find much more entertaining than that of a Grand Theft Auto, I could say that by the fact that it is much older and were times whose cultures were difficult to know, things like living on ranches, hunting rabbits, carriages pulled by horses, were things that you could only know watching movies or in this case living them in this way.

Okay esta foto está horrible, pero fue durante la misión ya que fue un camino largo cabalgando y me hizo sentir full nostálgico el hecho del campo y la ambientación que tengo que decirlo, me parece mucho más entretenida que la de un Grand Theft Auto, podría decir que por el hecho de que es mucho más antiguo y eran tiempos cuyas culturas eran difíciles de conocer, cosas como el vivir en ranchos, cazar conejos, carruajes empujados por caballos, eran cosas que solo podías conocer viendo películas o en este caso viviéndolas de esta manera.

I think the appeal of a videogame will always be the experience it gives you as a player, and definitely if we are going to open world games, and adding to that we add shooting and a cowboy premise, no doubt Red Dead Redemption is the winner, I would like to play this same title with backwards compatibility is a last generation console or on a powerful computer and see it at more than 60 fps.

Creo que lo atractivo de un vídeo juego siempre será la experiencia que te otorga a ti como jugador, y definitivamente si a juegos de mundo abierto vamos, y sumándole a eso le añadimos disparos y una premisa de vaqueros, sin duda Red Dead Redemption es el ganador, quisiera jugar este mismo título con retro compatibilidad es una consola de última generación o en una computadora potente y verlo a mas de 60 fps.

After finishing that mission and walking for a while I wanted to continue with the story, at this time I went to talk to this older gentleman named Nigel West Dickens, the name of this mission caught my attention, it seemed the title of an autobiographical book of some famous swindler "You will not give false testimony, except for money".
In this mission I practically acted as the assistant of this gentleman, as a kind of blackmail in an advertising campaign to convince a group of men to buy an elixir of dubious origin that according to Nigel, served as an invigorating, improved eyesight, strength, reflexes and much more, I would like to have a juice like that. :c

Luego de terminar esa misión y pasear un rato quise continuar con la historia, en este momento fui a hablar con este señor mayor llamado Nigel West Dickens, el nombre de esta misión me llamó mucho la atención, parecía el titulo de un libro autobiográfico de algún estafador famoso “No darás falso testimonio, salvo por dinero”.
En esta misión prácticamente hacia como el ayudante de este señor, como una especie chantaje en una campaña publicitaria para convencer a un grupo de hombres en comprar un elixir de dudosa procedencia que según Nigel, servía como vigorizante, mejoraba la vista, la fuerza, los reflejos y mucho más, yo quisiera tener un jugo así. :c

Continuing with the mission, shooting at moving things, I had to beat up a gentleman to finish convincing the whole town.
It makes me laugh that my sister took a picture of me from this angle, because if they see my face they would be scared, I had been playing for about 3 hours and the face I had was like I was hungover.

Continuando con la misión, disparando a cosas en movimiento tuve que caerle a golpes a señor para terminar de convencer a todo el pueblo.
Me causa gracia que mi hermana me haya tomado una foto desde este ángulo, porque si ven a la cara se asustarían, tenia aproximadamente 3 horas jugando y la cara que tenia era de estar de resaca.

To finish this gameplay I spent a full hour playing poker to try to get an achievement called "High Roller". I had a streak and won a lot of money at first. I was feeling way too professional... ...of course after that the last of the NPCs got really tough and literally took away all the money I had made hunting falcon wings and selling them in the General Store :c

Para terminar este gameplay me dedique una hora ful a jugar poker para intentar conseguir un logro llamado “Gran Apostador”. Tuve una racha y gané mucho dinero al principio. Me sentía demasiado profesional… …claro que luego de eso el último de los NPC se puso muy difícil y literal me quitó todo el dinero que había conseguido cazando alas de halcón y vendiéndolas en General Store :c
