Good and blessed week to all the #Hive community! it's been a whole year since I last posted anything on my blog, a lot has happened since then including moving home and getting a stable job, I lost the passwords to this account while I was moving until I remembered to save them in the mail long ago when I was able to create the account with my sister, but here I am and it's time to revive this blog with one of my old hobbies, #video games have had a surge in my life along with all these little changes and I've been able to play some in my free time and now I want to share my experience.

One of the video games I've been playing is #Undertale of which I've heard a lot over the years, it's an indie game that won the affection of the public with its simple gameplay making a tribute to several classics of the genre while maintaining a charm in its characters and in its way of approaching the moments in the game, it skips the conventional rules to put funny moments in full battles in the style of games like Pokemon, so I could download it and install it to show you my first moments in this adventure.

I look forward to your comments below and if you can recommend me more games I'd love it!

This is the opening cinematic

The story of #Undertale is based on a boy who falls into the abyss of the mountain and enters a new world full of monsters, in the introductory cinematic we are told that humans and monsters kept a war for many years before humans won and locked the monsters in this place so now we are a stranger in no man's land, we meet all kinds of characters and we realize that these monsters are actually friendly for the most part, the first moments are us learning the main controls and understanding the combat in this world.
*I found a flower

The first monster that we find in this world is a flower that explains a little more of what we will find later ^^ the combat system is simple for the most part, we have a small box with a heart that represents our soul that we must protect from enemy attacks, when it is our turn we can perform different actions such as Fight, dialogue or forgive which as I will see later gives for all kinds of situations plus each monster that we find has its own interactions and you can say that even has a personality.

Once the flower explained this I wanted to do a practice to see how I moved and collected their shards of friendship, bad mistake because this is where I was revealed as it really is down here because after grabbing them these took away my health and at the same time revealed that we must dodge everything that is thrown at our heart.

The flower wanted to kill me

Good start.

Just when they were going to kill me jumped to rescue me my favorite character so far, Toriel is the caretaker of the ruins where we fell and was waiting for a long time for someone to fall again to help him, she takes us by the hand and we go to his sanctuary where we explain some of the puzzles that may include the rooms of each level, They are simple problems that do not pass to unlock some passages through levers or follow various patterns to avoid falling into a pit full of monsters, the simple details of each level remind me of what was at the time the retro Nintendo titles and I think that was the intention of the creator in this game, capture the magic of those games and give them a new meaning with his vision.

A retro charm

This game is not too flashy in terms of its level design or its characters, actually it looks a lot like an 8-bit game like Sega or Nintendo, the music is according to that time as well as its controls and I really liked the design of several of the characters but especially our caretaker Toriel who I find so cute as she overprotects us even when we leave our safe place and calls us on a cell phone just to know what kind of condiment we like.

I really liked this room and the way this game has to save the game, with a little light point that tells us that we are doing very well ^^ !

I haven't really got into the game and the story yet but I'm liking what I've played so far, I've read a lot of online reviews about the length or how bad this game is and that just motivated me to download it and play it, I don't expect it to last too long but I've noticed that the characters and the story are going to play a fundamental role over the gameplay, let's say, the gameplay, I'm going to play it for the first time, I will be bringing to my blog all the adventures I'm going to have here and maybe I'll even dare to make a video for Youtube playing it and upload it here, if you want to download it I leave the information that you can get it on the net very easy with a little patience and search.
