Today I have free time, so I tried checking a PVP game which was told a few days ago by my friend. So what is the name of the PVP game I checked today? Okay I will review it here.
Hunt : Showdown is a PVP hunting bounty game set in dark times. Here I will face many monsters with their own uniqueness. And I am obliged to arm myself with the best equipment in order to hunt freely.
This game carries a Multiplayer game approach with a supernatural theme, which is something that is quite rare. There are several game series such as Left 4 Dead, Killing Floor, and Dying light that can be categorized under this theme. But Hunt: Showdown is different from the series above.

Hunt: Showdown does not only present a dominant supernatural theme in it, this game is also specifically designed to provide an experience like a real survival game. And this game also uses the latest Crytek Engine base. And the results look amazing, the graphic quality that is carried by Hunt: Showdown really looks great.
The first time I laughed when I heard the title of the online shooter game from Crytek when I was told by my friend. But now after I played this game I have to admit that I take it more seriously. Because the title that feels familiar may feel a little too broad, but it's actually very apt to describe things in a bold way.

Gameplay
In a regular match, the action begins with the title Hunt. Players, either alone or with friends, have to find gaps and seal them in scenes avoiding deadly zombie-shaped creatures that come in all shapes and sizes. Then once they find enough signs or clues, it's time for a Showdown. While those still standing must fight each other and the rest of the undead as part of a mad attempt to find a way out and glory awaits the winner on the other side

And although Hunt: Showdown borrows some of the pillars that form the core of the battle royale genre, Crytek presentation style doesn't feel like any other game that tries a slice of fortnite-flavored pie. Borrowed features are supported by an equally clever design decision that ensures the uniqueness of this game, the most visible from the positive sides is the setting, but the control in terms of number of players is also not to be underestimated. The swamp-filled louisiana maps as far as I'm concerned are only two and I have to admit that I really like its overall aesthetic as well as its mysterious story. The look is bleak and suspenseful and unlike anything I've ever played, and its unique setting also really takes it on a horror theme.

The Bayou where Hunt: Showdown takes place is filled with old wooden buildings and rickety huts, and is guarded by some truly creepy creatures, each of whom will be happy to chew anyone through and even more so with their attacks that could easily swallow half the health bar if you're not careful. Each match starts with a player on the outside of the map and using our mysterious dark vision, you can search for each objective based on its distance from your position. And in terms of exploring and scavenging to get better gear, and sneaking past the undead you encounter on the way you can shoot them to death even though stealth is often better chosen.

These marshes look fantastic, and Crytek's designers have really brought that playroom to life with a mix of detailed textures and atmospheric effects even though this is a game with a lot of demand and is better run on a powerful device. Nonetheless, it's the audio quality that's the positive side of the game that stands out the most, and I'm really impressed with everything from the crisp rhythms of the theme through the use of 3D audio to really getting me into every scene.
You may follow your supernatural vision among its markers, but it's just as important to use your hearing when trying to figure out where the enemy is, and where the opposing players can appear. Knowing exactly where a bullet is fired is clearly an important part of this, but the world is also filled with barriers that create noises, ranging from doors that require careful and careful handling to broken glass that makes noises under the feet.
With this setting, the weaponry is in keeping with its time and further gives an addition to the uniqueness of the setting. However, what accompanies your development throughout the game is an overly complicated opening system, but if you like to make changes with what you build, you have the opportunity to do just that here. Although you can give hunters that you have new equipment to make their lives in the swamp easier, after a few levels, the safety dies, and when the character dies, they will forever die. You can always unlock more, but the ever-overshadowing death becomes an additional sting after the previous round is over gruesome and full of blood.

There are two ways to play this game. The Bounty Hunt, where players can join in two or three or play alone if you're brave enough, and then look for different objectives along the way to defeat a boss or more. And once everything is done, you can try to reach the exit. Failure will make you lose half of the experience points earned throughout the mission, although if you're an optimist, this setting ensures you get rewarded with XP even if you're beat up.

Bounty Hunt, with extended bosses and playtime, is enhanced with solo variants that offer a more direct and faster way of playing. Here you will be faced with a number of other players who are all trying to close foreign cracks before one player opens the so-called wellspring. At this stage, there is another showdown and the rest of the players have to approach the defending leader and try to defeat him before his time runs out.
Behind the atmosphere of the world, unique game modes and a good mix of action and stealth, there is a very complicated setting behind the scenes where you can upgrade your characters with abilities that open up and use new weaponry. This part of I think feels overcooked.
This online shooter game is unique and also cleverly designed, and I like the atmosphere that developers have been able to create. But this game need more content and uses a confusing development system, but if you want a slightly different multiplayer shooter game, Hunt: Showdown is worth playing.
