While there was a local arcade where I live with several games, a beat-em-up cabinet like that was never one of them [unfortunately].

Think the closest memory to having fun with other players on a real arcade was playing Guitar Hero with my brother and one time where I sat on the Need for Speed Carbon cabinet and two or three more folks happened to be seated for a race.

Must have been awesome back then to play a game like that on the spot with friends. Beat-em-ups are certainly a ton of fun when you have others to chatter with and help you out of trouble 😅
