Welp, even though I never expected it to be done this quick after having spent over 300 attempts in Hell mode, it just happened. Literally a comment I posted in yesterday's post mentioned that I thought my odds of success are probably lower than 1% but guess the stars aligned.
Okay so some info about this run, I did get quite lucky with some good abilities but nothing too OP in my eyes. Chaos gate could've given me a few more attack boosts but I got 1 epic one with 60%+ attack early, other than that the flurry perk that let's you just hold down left click to quickly auto attack and on top of it all getting another 10% attack speed later really did a lot. The other to boost the range of my left-click attacks and increase damage by another 40% if the targets are far away did wonders as well.
Things could've gotten crazier though, I've definitely witnessed some vidoes on youtube some of the days I've felt so defeated looking how others do it, but I'm glad it wasn't a complete OP run where I could've just facerolled through the whole game. This made the clear feel a lot better.
The main difference here from my runs yesterday is that I changed my revives from the one where you only get one and each stage it gives you an extra one if you lost it in the previous stage to the one where you start with 3 and have those throughout the whole game instead and the only way to get more is by getting Athena's power. Got lucky with getting a few of those as well which lead me to having 2 revives for the Hades fight.
Another great powerup I received that I got a bit lucky with is the extra dash one, at epic it gives you 2 extra dashes which would've made evading Hades abilities a lot harder without. So all in all a pretty lucky run but not completely easymode imo.
Anyway, no commentary here cause was still a bit tired from recording the previous one and honestly wasn't expecting it to happen this soon. :D

Next I'm most likely going to retire from Hades again and potentially await Hades 2, having gone from heat 10 to 25 felt like a challenge enough, don't think I'll ever manage to clear heat 30+ with the current playstyle with Spear and not looking to learn how to play the other weapons cause ain't nobody got that much time when there's so much happening around hive. :P

I revisited this game myself a week back and it never really gets old. I've never gotten as far as this though that is one heck of a level win! Got a little dicey at that snack head boss until that ultimate move lol dang

Yeah it's quite a masterpiece of a game, hope Hades 2 will be just as good but I have a feeling it will.
Hadn't looked into that game much, looks a bit like titanfall. You planning on getting it?
Going to check out a few streams of it and then make a final decision. I kept getting it confused with Metalcore lol but it looks decent so far. I just dislike paying so much for a new game and then it being a flop.
the power ups of the bosses (especially in Elysium) make it almost impossible for me to pass them, I know you can choose the punishments but I think one way or another I ended up sunk, congrats on this achievement! now let's take it to heat 30 lol

Hades was such a fun game. I didn't make it it to heat 25. I forget how far I made it, but once I beat the story I think I only put in a few more reps and moved on. I may have to brush it off. Can't wait for the sequel, though!
It is an excellent video game. I tried it a long time ago and I was also a bit stuck to it. Something that caught my attention were the dialogues which are of high quality so much so, that does not make the game look boring at any time. Even though it is quite repetitive. Not to mention the quality of the details and the possibility of variants that you have in each "run" that certainly make it a very addictive game.

It cracked me up when I watched the one with the commentary and you were overexplaining the crit numbers being bigger and finished it with the, "I don't know why I had to explain it so... badly" hahaha
It's hard enough to just play at that difficulty and then on top of that think about something else, it becomes impossible.
Yeah dunno why I thought that'd be a good time to get into the basics of the game. xD

For me, the trial and error finding the settings that were doable for me were 95% of the work.
As soon as I found the right setting I got it first try (although you could say the many hours spent trying to beat it with the wrong settings made me a good enough player to beat it)
